The Job

WBIE is looking for an Associate Producer to help with production efforts as part of a robust WBIE slate. The Associate Producer will support the Producer, Senior and/or Executive Producer with the day-to-day management of internal and external development teams, forging strong, successful partnerships between development and publishing resources. They will also take on project lead responsibilities for small projects the team is managing by working directly with Development, QA, Legal, and Marketing to drive the project(s) from start to completion in a short period of time.

The Daily

  • Manage stakeholder reviews, relationship management, and general creative process between developer, publishing, and external partners via Box.com, One Note, Slack, or other collaboration tools.
  • Reviewing all milestones for quality and gameplay, routing to third parties when necessary. Build playthroughs and write-ups and documentation review at each milestone.
  • Assistance with managing external vendors, including following up on internal communication requests, requesting agreements, processing invoices, securing middleware licenses, and reviewing milestones.
  • Overseeing the QA, localization, live production, and customer service processes with our internal teams; work with Legal and Business Affairs to identify any legal and compliance issues; work with studio service groups to coordinate voice-over script recording and talent scheduling.
  • Communicating updates to all necessary team members. This includes but is not limited to weekly production updates, demos, visual presentations, PowerPoint presentations, meeting/conference calls, and potential site visits to Developer(s).
  • Supporting the Producer, Executive, and/or Senior Producers in other videogame projects as assigned.

The Essentials

  • A strong background and understanding of multi-platform video game production; 2+ years’ experience shipping AAA console product at a developer or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, enthusiastic, and self-directed; able to keep on an assigned track without regular supervision; ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong, clear communicator; the ability to communicate with multiple teams including business development, marketing, PR, operations, creative, QA, and more; must excel at following up on task completion, identifying dependencies and disseminating information to staff and management
  • Extensive knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Trello, and/or other database software; solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; online/internet skills.
  • A love of PC and/or console gaming, in general, and with experience and/or knowledge about a wide range of game genres popular in today’s market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

CNBC Digital Video is looking for a business-news obsessed associate producer to help develop, produce and curate premium digital video products for its fast-growing direct-to-consumer subscription business. The role requires a mix of digital video and television production experience, ideally at a major business news outlet.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, disciplined and tech-savvy producer who can craft smart headlines, work under tight deadlines, and collaborate across several different departments at CNBC. The associate producer’s main responsibilities will be assisting the Senior Producer of CNBC PRO Video with the daily franchise, Market Movers, and with CNBC PRO’s monthly interview series, PRO Talks. It will also include daily curation, clipping and publishing responsibilities for CNBC Investing Club with Jim Cramer. The role will also call for assisting the team’s Senior Producer in virtual and in-person control room productions.

  • Strong writing skills and news judgment

About the Role

As a Creative Producer, you are responsible for the overall management, execution, and final delivery of creative content. Experience in all creative & content deliverables accepted, but specifically motion graphics/animations and live video shoot production experience required.

Client Management:

    • Maintaining and fostering positive client relationships

Budget Management:

    • Developing creative deliverable budgets, working with the account, creative, production and technical teams to adequately scope for the project
    • Providing weekly updates on hours/budget within each project, pulling weekly reports on timekeeping program
    • Approving vendor/contractor invoices against budget line items

Project Management:

    • Setting up projects, with clear objectives, in the project management system and up keep of schedules, tasks, budgets
    • Establishing and communicating timelines and expectations with internal staff in line with client expectations
    • Responsible for collaborating with Traffic Management to schedule creative resources within a software system
    • Developing project briefs for each kick-off meeting with creative teams
    • Overseeing and driving creative excellence and brand integrity within the project both internally and externally
    • Retrieving and providing the required assets for projects and maintaining the approved file structure
    • Overseeing weekly project status updates with interdepartmental teams and/or supervisor

Production (Video Shoots):

    • Assign and manage key production positions such as Video Director, Director of Photography, and Lighting and audio crew members
    • Scout and secure filming locations

    • Facilitating the exchange of information between client and production crew members
    • May be required to conduct interviews and direct on-screen talent as needed
    • Familiarity with HD and 4K professional cameras (Canon C300, Sony F700, Red Epic or similar) required
    • Familiarity with basic lighting, grip and audio recording equipment for studio and field production required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 + years in project management related to video production, motion graphics, brand design, marketing, digital content channels for creative agencies
  • 5 + years on-set experience producing live video shoots
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop) preferred
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management and make effective decisions to balance creative constraints

In this role you will lead a team of creatives in creating compelling episodic content that not only engages our current subscribers but attracts new fans and subscribers and grows our YouTube channel. Your creative influence doesn’t end there as many of our shows inspire our merchandise development as well as special events. Donut Media is in an aggressive phase of launching new shows and business initiatives, as part of our team you will plug into an organization of multi-faceted individuals with great imagination and innovative spirit.

The Responsibilities:

As Show Producer, you will perform the following activities:

  • Work with executives to develop show format and vision for the show across multiple episodes.
  • Assemble a new creative team! Oversee and manage that team from writing ideas through to post production.
  • Develop thumbnails with the creative team.
  • Work with production teams to coordinate creative vision and production logistics to deliver final episodes and deliverables.
  • Work with talent coordinator to manage talent availability.
  • Oversee the identification and sourcing of featured products for series.
  • Ensure final delivery is on time and on budget.


The Qualifications:

  • A strong working knowledge of automotive mechanics is a must to succeed in this role.
  • Experience in reality tv game show formats is preferred, sourcing contestants and legalities around contests and fulfillment.
  • Experience overseeing mid range live action production budgets and associated logistics, while this is YouTube this is not a low budget production.
  • Proven writing experience in episodic content, writing samples are a plus.
  • Experience working in Youtube/Digital Video. You should know the formats, trends, production and animation styles prevalent on YouTube.
  • Experience overseeing edits if not also possessing hands on editorial skills.


The Person:

  • An aptitude for storytelling, with experience and understanding of unscripted/reality, on YouTube and other digital platforms is essential.
  • Comfortable working alone with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Ability to work within processes and procedures of a larger organization.
  • Enjoys being hands on, rolling up his or her sleeves and working within a team.
  • Organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and via all text forms.

Peoplefun is looking for a Content Producer to aid the team in creating content and is passionate about supporting the art team as they work from concept to final delivery.

The ideal candidate is a producer who can handle the overall product/project management, development schedules, and maintain communication between both internal and external teams. This role is responsible for coordinating art tasks, iteration, and anticipating and identifying potential problems, bottlenecks, quality concerns, unanticipated scope changes, feature creep, etc., and ensuring that such issues are resolved quickly.

Responsibilities:

  • Use Jira to track priorities and statuses of assets while in the pipeline
  • Assist Art Team Leads with communication and organizing with outsourced contractors.
  • Create and maintain a roadmap and timetable for asset production for the art team.
  • Work with the team to define deliverables and set timelines.
  • Facilitate planning meetings and organize releases.
  • Oversee and enable communication with other project producers and be able to flag any issues
  • Provide leadership to the team by giving clear guidance, timelines, and goals
  • Review products/features to ensure quality and consistency
  • Be able to troubleshoot and resolve production problems

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sprint planning and/or project management
  • Strong project and people management skills
  • Proven ability to focus on priorities, solve problems, juggle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
  • At least one shipped game prefer 2 – 3 mobile games shipped
