The Global Security Communications Center is responsible for supporting emergency and non-emergency security system monitoring, incoming call mitigation, event dispatching, and event-driven global notification services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In an emergency situation, the GSCC directs and coordinates all enterprise-wide assistance and support by providing technical and advisory assistance for the performance of essential operational services; the issuance of warnings of risks and hazards, dissemination of employee information, as well as being the center point for management, control, and reduction of immediate threats to health and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • The GSCC Mapping Contractor must be able to exercise critical thinking and strong attention to detail in order to plot all assets through the department’s mapping platform. This will enable the GSCC to immediately identify assets impacted by man-made and natural incidents, and subsequently facilitate communications and solutions to impacted personnel and their impacted business leadership, including the executive leadership of the company
  • The GSCC Mapping Contractor is an important member of the Travel Safety Program as they are responsible for mapping geographical locations, trips, expeditions, productions, and tours worldwide to enable the user to obtain real-time information to navigate clear from potential dangers, concerns, and vulnerabilities: violent protests, inclement weather patterns, natural disasters, COVID-19 travel restrictions and ordinances, social media threats, medical emergencies, and other travel hazards
  • Plot all assets (worldwide) into the department mapping tool
  • Ensure all assets are current by cross-checking against weekly lists provided by business partners from across the enterprise
  • Assist in briefing internal and external partners on the mapping capabilities of the GSCC
  • Apply and utilize smart mapping tools/styles for visual stunning presentations
  • Use intuitive analysis data tools to add valuable context by combining it with existing demographic and lifestyle data
  • Assist with data management and entry
  • Assist GSCC Supervisors and Managers with administrative tasks

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
  • Must be a self-starter and able to take initiative
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take directions
  • Ability to transition between calm and extremely active work conditions
  • Must be willing to learn unfamiliar technical systems
  • Sense of urgency in a 24/7 work environment for quick response to critical developing issues

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
  • Interest in security systems, physical security, threat analysis, and global affairs
  • Demonstrated business acumen

Required Education:

  • BS or equivalent work experience
  • An undergraduate degree in International Relations, Geospatial Studies, Geo-Design, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Technologies, Criminal Justice, or a closely related field
  • An advanced degree in a closely related field is a plus

Must Haves:

  • GIS Background
  • Mapping Analytical Skills
  • Previous Experience working in Global Security is a plus
  • A degree in Computer Science is a plus
  • Basic understanding of Python
  • Expert communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience with Corporate Communications

Job Description:

  • Digital Producer, The Production Operations team is accountable for the successful daily operation of the sites and apps during all hours (including nights, weekends and holidays when scheduled for on-call duty, or when emergent need arises), must aid in estimating the necessary funding and level of effort for minor to medium operations efforts and enhancements, make recommendations for best execution options, interact with business partners, product owners, and creative and technology team members to quickly turn around requests for changes, and build out pages and changes in the Content Management System (CMS)
  • Requests can range from quick efforts such as copy and image swap-outs or vanity URL requests, to building new detail pages or new site sections, performing content entry for large projects, or troubleshooting issues on the websites/apps.
  • Level of effort for the types of requests usually ranges from one hour to six weeks of effort.
  • The work occurs under the direction of production leadership and more Senior Producers, as well as working under direction of Digital Product Operation Managers for content and e-commerce website/app strategy best practices.
  • Daily activities include the review and comprehension of work requests created and assigned in Jira, clearly communicate requests to and schedule the work of creative resources needed to complete specific tasks (e.g., web developers, copywriters, etc.), utilize established processes to obtain applicable approvals at all levels of development, making updates in the CMS, ensuring requests are completed in a timely manner, working in priority order as determined by Agile methodology, communicating status and roadblocks in daily scrum, interacting with business partners, application vendors, and all internal departments including the ability to communicate effectively with resources of all levels, from entry level interns to senior leadership.
  • This role also has the opportunity to contribute to recommendations for solutions and best ways to execute on requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the execution of requests across the Product Management, Creative, and Technology teams.
  • Resource contributors, schedule and oversee the work on requests.
  • Partner with and motivate a diverse team of resources .
  • Identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of requests.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to ensure accountability for the operation of websites that are functional 24/7; this includes serving as on-call on a scheduled basis, and could include at times responding to emergent situations when not the scheduled on-call.
  • Clearly organize and forecast deliverables and dependencies.
  • Ensure proactive scheduling of all aspects of requests and on time deliverables within estimated duration and resources.
  • Manage the full life cycle of operational requests from requirements through launch.
  • Juggle day-to-day tasks and have in-depth involvement to allow for early identification of potential challenges.
  • Monitor request scope and execute change control when additional requests for features or functionality are made.
  • Elevate situations that may require Production leadership intervention.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Regular updates to the Production leadership.
  • Proactively identify any risk or conflicts based upon creative, technology or business factors.
  • Bachelor’s degree or significant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Digital Producer.
  • Experience within the travel/tourism industry.
  • Experience within the media/entertainment industry.
  • Experience with online marketing of Vacation Resort, Timeshare or Cruise Industry (e.g., tickets, hotels, air, transportation)
  • Experience working with clients, business partners, and guests/customers.
