Position Overview:
Brunswick—and our portfolio of leading marine brands—is seeking a Content Creator to elevate and energize our organic social media presence. We’re looking for a hybrid creative who lives and breathes digital storytelling—someone who can concept, create, and deliver content that stops the scroll and sparks engagement.
In this role, you’ll flex your skills across visual design, videography, and copywriting while staying ahead of social trends to bring fresh, authentic ideas to life. Essential Functions:
- Generate creative and unique content ideas that are aligned with our brands’ social strategy
- Produce original video and photo content as well as copy for our brands’ social media channels including Instagram, Reels, Facebook and others
- Strong understanding of content that performs on social channels with the ability to adapt our content so it can be used across those different channels
- Monitor current social media trends for potential brand fit
- Partner with cross-functional teams—including social media managers and brand marketing leads—to translate strategies into compelling content, ensure alignment across channels, and analyze performance to continuously optimize what’s working
- Collaborate with the social governance team to champion compliance, uphold social media legal policies, and guide best practices that keep our content both creative and compliant
- Strong understanding of capabilities within the various social platforms and how to leverage them
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:
- Portfolio or proven experience in content creation for social (reel, portfolio website, links to live content)
- Proficiency in editing software both inside and outside native platforms
- Proficiency in writing social copy that performs
- Ability to produce quickly and efficiently
- Has social intuition and knows what will and will not work on platforms
- Knows how to shoot content on iPhone
- Ability to take direction, work independently, and collaborate effectively
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in social media content creation, photography and video production
- Proficiency with creative tools (i.e. Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Capcut)
Working Conditions:
- Some travel (~25%) will be required in this role
The anticipated pay range for this position is $69,000 – $110,500 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
