Open Casting Call for Singers and Dancers – Wicked Broadway and National Touring Company
Job Description:
The Broadway and National Touring Company of the blockbuster musical Wicked is holding open auditions in Las Vegas for singers and dancers. We are seeking talented performers with strong vocal and dance abilities to join the ensemble in one of the most celebrated musicals. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-energy, critically acclaimed production.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform as part of the ensemble in Wicked, delivering captivating vocal and dance performances.
- Execute complex choreography by Wayne Cilento that emphasizes jazz and contemporary dance techniques.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to the show’s rigorous performance schedule.
- Collaborate with other cast members and take direction from the production team to ensure cohesive and dynamic performances.
Requirements:
Singers:
- Age 18+, any ethnicity, any gender.
- Strong vocal ability with a wide range.
- Experience with musical theatre; must be prepared to sing a cappella and bring sheet music for a contemporary musical theatre song (sopranos may sing 16 bars of a traditional legit musical theatre song if preferred).
- Please bring a recent photo and resume (stapled together).
Dancers:
- Age 18-35, any ethnicity, any gender.
- Strong ballet and jazz technique, with experience in contemporary choreography.
- Must be prepared to demonstrate jazz and contemporary dance styles; jazz shoes or sneakers are recommended.
- Please bring a recent photo and resume (stapled together) and be prepared to sing if requested.
Compensation:
Compensation details follow Broadway or touring company rates, as per union regulations, and will be discussed upon selection.
Female Hip Hop Dancers with Jazz Funk Style – Las Vegas Event
Job Description:
We are urgently casting female hip hop dancers with a strong jazz funk style for an upcoming live event, She Rocks The Vote. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your dance skills on a professional stage. We are looking for dynamic and versatile performers who can deliver powerful and energetic routines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform as part of a live event, executing hip hop and jazz funk choreography.
- Attend all scheduled rehearsals and the tech rehearsal to ensure a polished performance.
- Work closely with the choreographer and fellow dancers to deliver a cohesive and exciting show.
Requirements:
- Female dancers, ages 18-30.
- Must be proficient in hip hop with a strong jazz funk style.
- Must be a Las Vegas local hire (no travel, housing, or per diem provided).
- Available for all rehearsal dates and the show.
- Comfortable with potential in-person auditions.
Compensation:
- Rate: Dancers Alliance Rates (flat rate).
