Job Description
A television production is casting male background actors to portray security guards in an interior studio setting. This opportunity is open to new faces who have not appeared on camera before and can bring a professional, authoritative presence to the role. Selected talent will be picture-cast by the director and must closely match specific wardrobe requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Appear on camera as a security guard in interior scenes

• Follow direction from the director and production team

• Maintain a professional, alert demeanor on set

• Stay camera-ready and consistent throughout filming

Requirements

• Male talent only

• ACTRA Full/Apprentice, AABP, or Non-Union

• New faces only (no prior on-camera experience)

• Must fit at least one size in each wardrobe category:

  • Chest/Jacket: 40R, 42R, 46S, or 52R

  • Neck: 15–15.5, 16–16.5, 18, or 19

  • Shoe size: 9–12.5

• Comfortable portraying a security guard role

• Must be fully available for a full day (morning, afternoon, or evening)

Compensation

• ACTRA Full/Apprentice: Regular background rate per IPA

• AABP / Non-Union: $17.60 per hour with an 8-hour minimum
