Actors for Stage Productions – “Jitney” & “To Be Young, Gifted, and Black”
Job Description:
Two powerful plays that celebrate the richness of Black theatre are now seeking talented and passionate actors. The productions include August Wilson’s Jitney and To Be Young, Gifted, and Black, adapted from the works of Lorraine Hansberry. Both productions will be directed by Rachel Finley and offer performers the opportunity to share meaningful stories that have shaped generations.
Job Responsibilities:

Perform in live stage productions with emotional depth and authenticity.

Collaborate closely with the director and cast to deliver strong ensemble performances.

Participate in rehearsals, script readings, and stage blocking sessions.

Bring unique personal expression and energy to each performance.
Requirements:

Actors of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.

Must have a strong stage presence and ability to perform live theatre.

Commitment to rehearsals and show schedules required.
