Job Description:
Two powerful plays that celebrate the richness of Black theatre are now seeking talented and passionate actors. The productions include August Wilson’s Jitney and To Be Young, Gifted, and Black, adapted from the works of Lorraine Hansberry. Both productions will be directed by Rachel Finley and offer performers the opportunity to share meaningful stories that have shaped generations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform in live stage productions with emotional depth and authenticity.

• Collaborate closely with the director and cast to deliver strong ensemble performances.

• Participate in rehearsals, script readings, and stage blocking sessions.

• Bring unique personal expression and energy to each performance.

Requirements:

• Actors of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.

• Must have a strong stage presence and ability to perform live theatre.

• Commitment to rehearsals and show schedules required.

• Passion for storytelling and connection to Black theatre and culture preferred.

Compensation:

• Paid theatre roles.

Pharma Commercial Extras

Casting is open for extras to appear in a pharmaceutical commercial shooting in the Phoenix, Arizona area. This project seeks natural, everyday individuals with approachable looks to portray clinic staff and other general background roles. This opportunity is ideal for those who are comfortable in front of the camera and can take direction well.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray general background characters in clinic or office settings

• Follow on-set directions and maintain professionalism during filming

• Work comfortably and naturally in front of the camera

Requirements

• Ages 30–60, any gender, any ethnicity

• All body types welcome; looking for authentic, real appearances

• No facial tattoos or piercings

• Must be able to act relaxed and natural on camera

• Local to the Phoenix, AZ area (no travel compensation)

Compensation
