About the role:
Our Senior Account Executive, Influencer Marketing, is responsible for driving revenue for Division-D’s rapidly growing Influencer Marketing division by prospecting, identifying, and onboarding new clients, as well as servicing existing advertiser and agency relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Influencer Marketing and digital media sales, as well as the ability to drive conversations from lead to client, and assist in building custom Influencer Marketing campaigns to meet client goals.

Position

Wasserman is looking for a Manager with experience and passion for talent, partnership and social marketing within Entertainment to join the team.

This is a unique opportunity to be the day-to-day contact for a major luxury automotive client’s fast evolving brand ambassador programme, consisting of high-profile individuals from the world of entertainment, automotive, design and sport. The role would initially involve making connections with these individuals and their agents and building a close rapport to support activations across above the line, social, digital and experiential campaigns.

Through the year the role would consist of liaising with all departments of the client’s business to book these individuals on brand campaigns, talent agent liaison, managing their contracted vehicle arrangements, event attendance, briefing and ensuring that talent stick to specific campaign briefs, social media management and post campaign evaluation. There will then be weekly client reporting to ensure the utilisation and effectiveness of brand’s core talent.

Reporting to a Client Director, this person will work with teams from across the division to provide solutions and drive results for our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong account and project management skills. Talent, influencer and social campaign management experience is a key determinant for success in this role.

A mix of intellectual, desk-based work, with sleeves rolled up attitude will be a winning combination. You will need to demonstrate an experience of strong work output, particularly in client-facing situations e.g. day to day account management, and internal/external stakeholder communications.

Please note this role is not within our Talent division or working with our athletes, this is Marketing role within our Experiential and Partnership team.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Day-to-day lead on talent programme for key Wasserman client, driving measurable and sustainable results.
  • Takes lead on proactive client communications, in particular status meetings, partner management, project management, and pro-active value-add advisory.
  • Assists with management of day-to-day contractual elements. Devise talent campaign strategies.
  • Regularly research and source partners/influencers and maintain a database of online and offline contacts.
  • Develop KPIs and monitor success.
  • Highlight, report and present quarterly talent usage, social media statistics and tracking verses KPIs.
  • Working within an Inter-Agency team, driving the talent agenda to ensure our KPIs and client deliverables are met within our timeframe
  • Research and present partnership proposals internally to the team
  • Understanding of the social media landscape and be engaged with the right talent for the brand through social media channels
  • Develop talent relationships for event activations, as well as marketing and public relations campaigns.

Strategic Advisory

  • Lead development of all strategic deliverables (presentations, memos, etc.) to advise clients and partners on recommendations.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to apply measurement framework, track key metrics, analyse results and present findings to the client.
  • Uses forward thinking initiative to identify the next best strategic opportunities and continue to deliver top results to the client.

Relationship Management

  • Manages client and partner relationships to ensure the client is fully leveraging all benefits and assets.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with clients, partners, as well as agency teams and third parties.

New Business / Projects

  • Builds relationships with clients to encourage new talent options to strengthen portfolio
  • Assists with new business pitches as arise throughout the year, including contribution to international pitches / RFPs where best practice resides locally.
  • Quickly understands Wasserman’s capabilities and services, and effectively communicates all offerings to clients and prospects.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • Experience of managing influeners social media campaigns
  • 4+ years’ relevant experience with minimum 3 years of direct social / talent / partnership agency and/or client side.

CASTING DOCUMENTARY FILM ANOTHER BODY
ANOTHER BODY follows a college student’s search for justice after she discovers deepfake pornography of herself circulating online. Through candid video diaries, synthetic media, and animation, the film takes you into Taylor’s online and offline worlds, grounding a vast social issue in a compelling personal story. Supported by Sundance Institute and International Documentary Association.

We are casting individuals to be part of a feature documentary by award-winning team, to be featured as deepfake face doubles. This is not an acting role. We are looking for talent who are interested in collaborating on this project and in helping protect the identity of the film’s subjects by being what’s called a ‘face veil.’ A similar process was used in David France’s Oscar-nominated Welcome to Chechnya. Talent will be filmed for a few hours capturing different light, expressions, angles, and talent’s faces will be mapped onto the original footage by a deepfake artist. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting a campaign to change the laws and culture around sharing private images and deepfakes without consent.

Deepfakes are synthetic media in which a person in an existing image or video is replaced with someone else’s likeness. For the purpose of this film, deepfakes are being used to protect the anonymity of the original documentary subjects. A 3D animated avatar version of the Taylor, resembling the face veil, will also appear in the film. In 3D, we will animate scenes from the film from their past experiences at college. These include college parties and hanging out in the suite, as well as more challenging memories of the misogyny Taylor experiences in a very male-dominated STEM culture, including one instance of attempted sexual assault. 

The use of deepfake face veils will be made clear to the audience; they will understand that the faces they see are not the faces of the film’s subjects. The film will not place the face veil onto any video image that shows explicit content. We will place the face veil onto cropped close-ups of Taylor’s face from the original adult footage, ensuring that only the face is visible and all pornographic or explicit elements are removed from the frame. This material will be used with utmost sensitivity and care.

Past projects include Netflix’s THE GREAT HACK (Academy Award shortlist, Emmy nominee, BAFTA nominee, IDA nominee, Cinema Eye winner, Sundance 2019); HBO’s hit series THE VOW; and PERSUASION MACHINES (Sundance New Frontier 2020). Sophie Compton is a British director, writer, and activist who tells women’s stories of injustice. As Artistic Director of Power Play, she has produced and directed six plays, including Fringe First-winning FUNERAL FLOWERS, taken on an Offie-nominated UK Tour (Bunker, BGAC). She has produced and directed work at Tate Modern, Science Museum, and V&A, and she is currently directing the feature documentary HOLLOWAY following ex-prisoners returning to the abandoned Holloway Prison (supported by Arts Council England). Sophie has led global activist campaigns that have led to changes to UK arts policy and Law Commission proposals for new legislation, and she has been invited to steering groups for international NGOs including the World Economic Forum. She trained in trauma-informed practice with Clean Break and draws on community activism to develop projects that empower women in process as well as output. She is an editor for climate magazine It’s Freezing in LA! ANOTHER BODY is Sophie’s feature debut.

Reuben Hamlyn is an award-winning filmmaker whose films look through the intimate frame of individual experience to investigate power, injustice, and the impact of technology and media on identity and behaviour. His last film ROGER tells the story of a service app worker who attempts to bypass technological barriers to forge a relationship with her client. ROGER was commissioned by the BFI and BBC Arts to open their ‘Born Digital: Raised by the Internet’ season in 2019. The film premiered at BFI Southbank and aired on BBC Four; it was noted as ‘highlight’ of the programme by The Guardian and featured in Vogue Italia before winning the Jury Prize at Ennesimo Film Festival “Filosofia” and the ‘Young Talent Award’ at the New Renaissance Film Festival. Previously, Reuben made ‘BROTHER!’—an experimental documentary about masculinity in pro-wrestling subcultures. The film exhibited at Copeland Gallery, London and was featured in Tank Magazine, It’s Nice That, and i-D. ANOTHER BODY is Reuben’s feature debut.

Summary

Crypto.com is seeking an innovative and experienced marketing mind to develop and execute influencer marketing strategies and creative campaigns. The Senior Influencer Marketing Manager will lead the expansion and success of the regional team. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and managing a regional roster, leading negotiations, closing deliverable agreements, and executing retention initiatives. If you are a team player who displays a positive, professional attitude at all times who knows the influencer world then you are the person we are looking for.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies and campaign planning in key markets North America.
  • Be in charge of building and managing the regional roster and ensuring the achievement of return on investment and key performance indicators.
  • Act as the lead point of contact and PIC for all matters specific to your region.
  • Draft and negotiate influencer agreements.
  • Utilize analytical tools to track and report on regional branding and conversion performance – Achieving coverage ROI & Acquisition
  • Lead daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on regional results (posts, impressions, conversions)
  • Provide regional updates and support the regional team as a whole.
  • Liaise with management and the global influencer team in joint initiatives, such as event marketing campaigns, collaborations, targeted promotional campaigns.
  • Execute ad hoc initiatives as assigned and be PIC for the regional team
  • Be an accountable self-starter and resourceful addition to the influencer team in North America.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration or related discipline
  • At least 3+ years of experience in influencer marketing
  • At least 1+ years management experience
  • Proven ability to work remotely and excel with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrable track record of activating and managing; relationships with influencers, and teams in a rapidly growing industry and brand. e.g. examples of sponsored content, driving business results with influencers, handling and drafting documentation.
  • Advanced knowledge of all social media platforms and designated niches, ie. MMA, Gaming, F1, Soccer, Basketball, Hockey, Finance, Technology, Crypto.
  • Outstanding project and time management skills
  • Expert knowledge of the North America market.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. This role involves liaising with colleagues, influencers, and management across territories. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
