Casting Call for Elder Torchbearer – SAG PSA

Job Description:

Destination Casting is seeking an experienced African American male actor to portray the role of Elder Torchbearer in an upcoming SAG Public Service Announcement (PSA) for the United Negro College Fund (UNCF). This role requires a strong actor with a regal, wise demeanor to deliver a compelling on-screen presence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray the Elder Torchbearer, an astute and wise figure, embodying leadership and dignity.
• Collaborate with the director and production team to deliver a powerful performance.
• Participate in callbacks, rehearsals, and the final shoot with professionalism.

Requirements:

• African American male, aged 65+ or appearing 65+.
• Must possess a regal and wise demeanor.
• Salt-and-pepper beard preferred but not required.
• Strong acting skills with prior on-screen experience.
• SAG-AFTRA membership required.
• Must work as a local hire in Atlanta, GA (no travel or accommodation provided).

Compensation:

• Paid SAG scale.

Casting Call: HIV Awareness PSA – Nationwide Campaign

Job Description:
Miami Talent Casting is seeking individuals living with HIV to participate in a powerful and positive awareness campaign. This project aims to promote understanding and support for people living with HIV through social media and print content.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in a professional video and photo shoot for a nationwide HIV awareness PSA.
• Share your story to help spread awareness and reduce stigma surrounding HIV.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure impactful and authentic campaign content.

Requirements:

• Hispanic/Latinx men and women, aged 20-60.
• Diagnosed with HIV by a healthcare professional and currently undetectable on medication for treatment.
• Must have a valid passport for potential travel (expenses covered).
• Comfortable sharing your experience as part of a positive awareness campaign.

Compensation Details:

• Rate: $650 + $8,000 buyout for print and social media usage.
• All travel expenses paid, including flights and accommodations.
