Job Description
A paid public service announcement is casting non-union African American talent for a heartfelt, story-driven shoot. The production is seeking a woman and a young boy—ideally a real mother and son duo—to portray a warm, relatable family in a Boston-based campaign focused on community safety and connection.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a mother and son in a narrative PSA scene

• Follow creative direction and deliver natural, expressive on-camera presence

• Work as part of a small, focused production team

• Ensure availability for a one-day local shoot

Requirements

• African American woman, ages 35–45, must have a valid driver’s license

• African American boy, ages 5–7

• Must be non-union

• Must be based in the Boston area

• Real mother and son pairs are highly encouraged to apply

Compensation

• Paid roles (rate provided upon selection)

• One-day shoot, local hire only
