Job Description
A heartfelt PSA campaign focused on suicide prevention is casting non-union actors for a narrative short centered around a teenage girl’s emotional journey. This project aims to raise awareness and offer hope through powerful performances and storytelling. Filming will take place locally in the Miami area, and actors must be available for shoot dates scheduled between May 28–30.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray emotionally complex characters in a scripted PSA scene

  • Deliver expressive, raw performances that reflect the intensity of real-life teen experiences

  • Follow direction closely to match the tone and message of the campaign

  • Engage with other cast members in naturalistic, emotionally resonant scenes

Requirements

  • Lead: Teenage Girl

    • Hispanic or can pass as Hispanic

    • Legal age 18 but must appear younger

    • Dark hair, tan complexion, expressive eyes

    • Must show grit, vulnerability, and strong emotional range

  • Supporting: Older Sister

    • Hispanic or similar appearance

    • Age 22–25, should appear slightly older but still youthful

    • Can be real siblings or matched for visual believability

  • Extras: Teen Friends

    • Three girls and two guys

    • Ages 18–21, all ethnicities

    • Should look like authentic high school or college-aged friends

  • Supporting: Counselor

    • Female, age 35–45

    • Hispanic or can pass as Hispanic

    • Empathetic, grounded, and professional presence

Compensation

  • Lead: $300 flat

  • Supporting: $200 flat

  • Extras: $150 flat
