About the Project:

“NeuroSync” is a sci-fi thriller about a journalist, Emily, who investigates a tech company claiming to revolutionize emotional healing. She discovers unsettling secrets with the help of Aaron, a conflicted employee, who challenges the company’s morally ambiguous founder, Dr. Dawson. Together, they confront the powerful forces behind the company’s facade.

Casting For:

1. Emily

   • Description: Female, mid-20s. A determined investigative journalist. Emily is driven by the loss of her mother, which fuels her relentless pursuit of the truth. She is intelligent, resourceful, and unafraid to challenge powerful figures to uncover hidden secrets.

   • Responsibilities: Portray a strong-willed and courageous journalist, engage in emotionally charged scenes, and drive the narrative forward.

2. Aaron

   • Description: Male, mid-20s. Morally upright and kind, Aaron is a therapist inside the company. He is torn between his loyalty to the company and his growing awareness of its dark side. His journey involves internal struggle and bravery as he decides to aid Emily in her quest.

   • Responsibilities: Depict internal conflict and moral dilemmas, show empathy and kindness, and support the protagonist in key scenes.

3. Dr. Dawson

   • Description: Male or Female, 30-50s. A complex and captivating figure, Dr. Dawson is a visionary with unmatched brilliance and ambition. Charismatic and authoritative, they embody the dualities of innovation and moral ambiguity. The character’s arc includes grappling with the ethical consequences of groundbreaking work.

   • Responsibilities: Present a duality of character—both inspiring and morally ambiguous, deliver authoritative and captivating performance, and engage in intense, thought-provoking dialogue.

4. Boss

   • Description: Male or Female, 40s-50s. A seasoned professional who started their career back in the late 90s after realizing they weren’t going to reach the peak of their career as a writer and a lawyer. Demanding and skeptical, they prefer to play things safe and dislike taking risks.

   • Responsibilities: Show a seasoned and skeptical demeanor, deliver authoritative lines, and interact with main characters in a supervisory role.

Requirements:

• Native English speakers or those with an American/British accent.

• Ability to deliver emotionally compelling and nuanced performances.

• Availability for the full shooting schedule in Paris, France.

Compensation Details:

• Compensation will be discussed upon application and may include travel expenses, accommodation, and a stipend.

• Actors will receive a copy of the final film for their portfolio.
