Job Description

We are seeking both cast and crew members for the upcoming romantic comedy film Sleeping Brittany. This non-union production offers participants an excellent opportunity to gain on-set experience, IMDb credit, and reel footage for their portfolios. The film centers around humor, charm, and a lighthearted take on modern relationships.

Job Responsibilities

Actors:

  • Portray assigned characters authentically and with comedic timing.

  • Participate in rehearsals and filming under the direction of the production team.

  • Be prepared for multiple takes and maintain professionalism on set.

Crew Members:

  • Assist in various production roles including direction, lighting, sound, and camera operation.

  • Collaborate closely with the director and production team to execute scenes smoothly.

  • Contribute creatively to ensure the film’s vision and technical quality.

Available Roles

Lead Role:

  • Phil (Male-presenting, mid-20s to early 30s, open ethnicity): A self-assured yet awkward guy who believes he’s charming but comes off as clumsy and a bit creepy.

Supporting Role:

  • Narrator (Male-presenting, any age, any ethnicity — voiceover only): A hopeful romantic who believes in fairytales, true love, and happy endings.

  • First Assistant Director (1st AD)

  • Director of Photography

  • Script Supervisor

  • First Assistant Camera (1st AC)

  • Second Assistant Camera (2nd AC)

  • Gaffer

  • Grips

Requirements

  • Must be local to the Greater Orlando area or able to self-report.

  • Must be available for filming dates.

  • Professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills required.

Casting and Crew Call for Horror Film “What Happened?”

Job Description
A new non-union horror film titled What Happened? is now casting actors and hiring crew members for an upcoming production in the Greater Orlando or Tampa area. This project offers on-set experience, IMDb credit, food, and reel footage for participating talent. Paid positions are available for select crew roles.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform scripted roles with authenticity, energy, and strong character development

  • Collaborate with the director, cast, and crew to bring the story to life

  • Support production in creating a suspenseful and engaging horror film

  • Crew members will assist with technical and creative tasks to ensure a smooth shoot

Requirements

  • Open to non-union actors and crew members

  • Character roles include:

    • Declan Stratham (male, late childhood to early adolescence, studious and well-mannered)

    • Morgan Stratham (female, mid-childhood, lively, must be comfortable with SFX makeup)

    • Jim Stratham (male, mid to late 30s, detached father figure)

    • Rachel (female, late childhood to early adolescence, carefree and fun-loving)

    • Cecelia (female, late childhood to early adolescence, energetic and uplifting)

    • Tyrone (male, late childhood to early adolescence, athletic football player type)

  • Crew roles available: Director of Photography (paid), Script Supervisor, ACs, Gaffer (paid), Grips, Sound Mixer (paid), Boom Operator, Production Designer (paid), SFX Artist (paid), and Production Assistants

Job Description
Casting is underway for a supporting role in the upcoming non-union stage production Sleeping Brittany, a comedy that explores quirky character dynamics. The role of Molly offers an actor the chance to lean into sharp wit and bold presence on stage. The show will be performed live in Orlando, FL.

Job Responsibilities
• Attend an in-person audition on June 21st

• Participate in one table read and one rehearsal (date TBD)

• Be available for dress rehearsal on July 24th

• Perform live shows on July 25th and July 26th

• Portray Molly with a sarcastic, confident, and unapologetically blunt energy

Requirements
• Female-presenting, aged 30s to 40s

• Open to all ethnicities

• Strong comedic timing and stage presence

• Must be able to deliver dry, edgy humor with nuance
