Deano – Lead (Late 20s to Early 30s)

• Natural leader and best friend to Rocky, with charm and composure

Coot – Lead (Early 20s)

• Male; Caucasian, brown hair preferred

• The youngest of the group and Rocky’s brother

• Has a baby-faced innocence he resents; carries a chip on his shoulder

Sheriff – Supporting (30s to 50s)

• Open to gender and ethnicity

• A small-town sheriff hardened by routine; dry humor, skeptical, and no-nonsense

• Quickly dismisses strange events as “wild animal attacks”

Deputy – Supporting (30s to 60s)

• Open to gender and ethnicity

• Youthful and charismatic, providing comic relief

• Curious and naive; floats wild theories of “devil cats and aliens”
