What we’re looking for: Spectrum News is launching a new national news product which will stream 24×7 on a new OTT platform. Spectrum News is in search of a Producer who will create newscasts as part of a national editorial team. Our national news puts impactful, not sensational, stories and information into context to demonstrate to viewers how their lives are connected to domestic and world events.

The Executive Producer, National News will be responsible for leading a team of producers and associate producers in the production of live and recorded national newscasts. The EP will be responsible for story selection and execution, working with news management throughout all Spectrum Networks and coordinating editorial logistics with the National Content Hub, reporters, producers and technical staff in locations throughout the U.S. The EP will also be responsible for producing special reports and series.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Supervisory responsibilities for newsroom staff and station personnel working on newscasts with particular emphasis on Producers and Associate Producers, ensuring the department’s staffing and assignment needs are met.
  • Serve as editorial lead of newscasts
  • Oversee decisions on story lineup, video/audio elements, graphics and show timing
  • Solve the challenges that come with dynamic news coverage
  • Develop backups for critical coverage
  • Coordinate logistics with all Spectrum stations
  • Perform writing and editing functions as needed
  • Generate story and coverage ideas on a daily and long-term basis
  • Handles shift scheduling and approves paid time off when applicable
  • Follow through on all assignments meeting required deadlines
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field preferred or comparable television work experience
  • 5+ years of producing and Executive Producing experience in television news
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • National news experience preferred

  • Work alongside Producers in the Content Factory to assist with crafting engaging short-form social content. Support final content delivery to platform owners, taking on production responsibilities when necessary.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 1 years of hands-on experience in production within television, media, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Television/Media Production, Communication, or relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with production equipment and editing platforms (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Capcut) and experience with social and streaming content trends.

About This Opportunity

As a Night Production Coordinator, you will work alongside our Production Supervisors, assisting on the floor and ensuring the operations run smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who wishes to grow and learn, as you will be trained and pipelined for a Production Supervisor role. The Night Production Coordinator reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile/Monitor inventory and raw material; identifying variances and resolving discrepancies.
  • Reporting, data maintenance in SAP, maintaining shift reports, and tracking for production volume, line performance, and yield.
  • Facilitate, Attend and Document daily SIC meetings, and communication of actions to stakeholders.
  • Track sick calls, update rolling temp list and get OT replacements as required, based on seniority and skills.
  • Document and Communicate crossover notes and crew talk details for incoming shifts
  • Lead/participate in facility projects, collect, analyze data, and invoice management

  • Troubleshoot breakdowns and perform root cause analysis

  • Conduct crew talks and training with employees

Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills – experience with SAP, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Degree or diploma in engineering, science or business management.
  • 2-3 years relevant experience preferable.

JOB SUMMARY:

Ideal candidate will be responsible for working with the Robot Programmers, ME’s and Supervisor in a team driven environment to obtain maximum performance from the robots.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the robot group in maintaining tooling changeovers and updated fixture revisions
  • Must be able perform regular robot weld audits
  • Maintain good housekeeping in and around the robots
  • Operate robots as needed
  • Must be able to pass the Polaris Welding Test and demonstrate welding in a production environment, program the machine, maintain logs and communicate effectively.

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Previous Welding experience and robot operation at Polaris is recommended, but not required.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Manager, Influencer (Influencer & Content Marketing Team) will play a critical role in end-to-end execution of our influencer campaigns from strategy development to data driven influencer identification, contracting, activation and measurement.

  • Lead technical editing, ensuring all content aligns with a cyber agency’s strategic objectives and supports broader cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Evaluate content beyond copyediting, assessing product type, messaging, and format for the target audience and strategic goals.
  • Identify opportunities for content optimization and work with SMEs to refine technical accuracy, enhance clarity, and ensure consistency.
  • Ensure technical documentation aligns with evolving cybersecurity threats, best practices, and frameworks.
  • Support the coordination and release of cybersecurity products, ensuring seamless integration with ongoing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Actively participate in editorial meetings providing updates and recommendations to products.
  • Develop and maintain editorial best practices according to guidelines, standardizing review processes and ensuring quality control.
  • Work with technical SMEs to refine cybersecurity content.
  • Work independently and demonstrate active listening and collaboration with peers in a fast-paced environment.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Public Trust clearance or higher (Secret, TS, etc.).
  • US Citizenship required by federal contract.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing, editing, or content analysis.

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Master of AP Style.
  • Experience supporting a government client and executing both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office producing consistent and uniform work products.
  • Experience working in a virtual environment and familiarity with SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.

 

Job Location(s): Position is hybrid, must be located in Washington D.C. area to visit client site in northern Virginia if needed.
