Job Description
A union web series is casting an infant to portray a “messy baby” in an upcoming production filming in Vancouver and surrounding areas. The production is looking for a baby who can naturally appear on camera in lighthearted scenes involving babysitting mishaps. This role will contribute to comedic moments within the series while working in a professional, child-safe production environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Appear on camera as an infant character in select scenes

• Participate in simple, supervised filming moments

• Work alongside cast members portraying caregivers

• Follow production schedules under guardian supervision

• Help bring authenticity and charm to the storyline

Requirements

• Babies approximately 6–12 months old

• Must be able to sit up unassisted

• Preferably not yet walking or crawling extensively

• Black, Middle Eastern, Indian, or mixed ethnicity

• Should be comfortable on set with a guardian present

• Must be available for filming within the production window

Compensation

• $401.46 per day (Tier D under the New Media section of the BCMPA)

• Union production under UBCP/ACTRA guidelines

Job Description
Casting is underway for a table read of A Part of Me, a TELUS Storyhive Greenlight short film and finalist project. The table read will take place in studio in Vancouver, BC on Sunday, February 22.

The story follows 16-year-old Miles, a Japanese Canadian teen who, after experiencing double kidney failure during a semi-final baseball game, begins uncovering memories that are not his own while searching for healing and identity.

Casting directors are seeking actors for multiple roles for the upcoming table read. This is an opportunity to collaborate on a meaningful, character-driven short film project.
