Role:

Creative producer. Full-time.

About the role:

We are looking for someone who is as much a creative as they are a producer. Organised, but in a fun way. You will approach problems with the ability to always find a solution and enjoy the journey problem solving takes you on. You will be able to think on your feet, think outside the box and many other clichés about someone who is generally smart and positive.

We want someone who is incredibly organised, meticulous and has a good head for numbers. Our clients are interesting, knowledgeable and driven, and we need someone who can match that energy. Energy is something we want you to bring every day.

As a Creative Producer, you will be our client’s point of contact. You will use your vast knowledge of the creative process to help our clients work too clever solutions that can save them time and money without harming the work. We have creative producers instead of account managers. This is because we are as much a production company as we are an agency. So we always look for people who can comfortably bridge that gap.

We are a new company, and we work differently from traditional agencies, that’s why our clients choose to work with us. While we may spend a lot of time in various photographic studios, creating everything from campaign images to social films, we also deliver the most services you would expect from an advertising agency. This could be strategy, social media management or creative development, so a good working knowledge of the entire creative process is necessary. You need to know the difference between an idea and an execution. You will be writing model briefs and working with photographers on lighting lists. You should understand the difference between Da Vinci Resolve and After Effects.

Whilst we are a London centric company, our team is split between the UK and Buenos Aires, so we are all about remote working. We understand that the 9-5 is dead in the world of media, so we will offer flexible start and finish times, allow you to pick where you work from and take those necessary days off for those unforeseen things that happen. If you are responsible enough to manage clients for us, you are responsible enough to manage your own time efficiently. As long as a good job gets done, we are happy for you to work out how to do it.

We want someone who is passionate and wants to grow with the company. You will help us find new clients and make the work we do for our current clients better. We will support your growth in any way we can and can guarantee you will learn new skills, work with some of the industry’s best people and have great fun while you do it. We are looking for someone to start on the 1st of March.

As a bit of test to help us find who is taking this application seriously, I ask that you respond to this post via email ([email protected]) with a brief outline of how you would approach the following:

‘A client wants us to create ten social posts for a product launch they are doing. We have a signed off brief in our inbox, and they just need the completed assets. They want two films and eight photos of two models holding the product, shot in a studio environment. What is the list of actions you would go through to complete this task?’ Please keep your response simple; a list of actions is perfect.

If you do have further questions, please reach out.

First Media’s Performance Marketing (Direct Response) team is a performance-first marketing division at a fast-paced, millennial women’s lifestyle company. We use data to make informed decisions around creative video storytelling — rather than having the data work for us. This means we are constantly looking at Facebook performance to optimize and streamline creative decisions to give our direct-to-consumer clients the best chance of success in the marketplace to grow their client-base. We never settle for “good enough” and react in real-time to make creative decisions and leverage how the world responds to our creative to make it even better.

We’re looking for a Creative Producer to join our Los Angeles team! The ideal candidate has past success in the direct-to-consumer space, ideally with consumer packaged goods and user generated content.

Responsibilities

  • Creative Ideation and Storytelling: Ideate, pitch shoot concepts, and script your video concepts in a clear voice to tell a specific story about a product to a specific audience, scaling what works well and nixing what doesn’t
  • Assist other Producers and the Creative Director in turning scripts into shot lists and fully fleshed out shoots.
  • Proactively engage in meetings with the production team to determine the creative elements needed to fully execute on concept.
  • Project management: Work across brands and clients with a team of directors, editors and producers. Able to juggle multiple concepts scripting and concepting, at the same time as other projects in post-production with a video editor.
  • Occasionally direct digital media video advertisements: testimonials, food shoots/styling, glam product shoots, modeling, etc.
  • Win: Make informed decisions to capture an audience and convert them to customers

Qualifications

  • A portfolio of digital content you have helped create (or created yourself), and the ability to talk about the strategy that informed each piece in the portfolio
  • 3+ years experience in Entertainment marketing, advertising or content creation
  • 2+ years experience in editing in Adobe Premiere
  • 2+ years experience in shooting using DSLR cameras
  • Able to combine streamlined copywriting and visual narratives into one medium
  • Ability to bring ideas to life on a white board, big stage presentation, or finished content
  • Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) and/or user-generated content (UGC) a plus
