  • Editing ads to be ready for publishing, adhere to production standards and ensure creative is uploaded to company platform

What You Will Do

As an Associate Content Producer at Firaxis, you will be a member of our cinematic team, responsible for developing and maintaining processes and pipelines in support of our internal developers. Our ideal candidate has experience with asset-heavy pipelines, animation teams, or real-time game cinematic pipelines.

Some Specific Responsibilities Include

  • Collaborate with Narrative, Cinematics, and Environment producers to manage the day-to-day of the internal cinematic pipeline.
  • Work with leads and producers to communicate resource needs and upstream/downstream dependencies in the pipeline.
  • Work with Senior Producer to implement best practices for asset management of content such as animation and VO files for the internal cinematics team.
  • Be an integral part of growing an impactful and healthy cinematics team, pushing the creative limits on Marvel’s Midnight Suns.

Who Will Be a Great Fit

  • 2+ years of experience working in production where you have worked with internal development teams

The Role

This role reports ON-SITE at our West Hollywood Office.

Moonbug is seeking a full time Music Producer to support the Music Department of the successful CoComelon franchise. This role is based in our West Hollywood office in the heart of California. At Moonbug, you will be working with some of the biggest brands in family entertainment; one of the fastest-growing genres in music.

The successful candidate will have a high proficiency in music composition and music production, arranging, orchestration, and writing music briefs for composers to work from. You will need to be organized, detail orientated, and be ready to adapt to new challenges.

We would like to see someone who has been working as a composer in the film/television/animation capacity over the past 3 to 5 years. They should be comfortable working within various music genres, singing vocal guides for our talent, translating notes into musical terminology, and have strong project management skills.

Reporting to the Music Director, you will be helping expand the CoComelon music catalog across various media streams. You will be responsible for creating and producing original songs and nursery rhymes as well as developing and expanding the CoComelon soundscape.

  • Under the direction of the MD, collaborate and follow strategies and processes to maintain and implement across all audio pipelines.
  • Maintain a clear line of communication with the music production team to ensure the flow of assets is seamless.
  • Drive and oversee the process of making music albums/tracks all the way from creative inception to final master stage.
  • Collaborate with relevant IP production coordinator to align on contract requests, purchase orders and metadata.
  • Liaise with the team of composers, engineers and lyricists to provide clear feedback (and QC when relevant) during the skeleton, instrumentation, and mixing stages of a composition and then relay to the MD.
  • Show high proficiency in the relevant DAW to edit, arrange, compose and make changes to songs and compositions as and when required.
  • Record/sequence MIDI tracks on Cubase, keeping track of your progress daily
  • Write and develop musical briefs, determine the musical direction of episodes and/or albums, style and instrumentation.
  • As and when needed Develop music style bibles for use both internally and externally.
  • Execute creative requests from the musical director and assign roles in the Team (Internal or external) to meet specific briefs.
  • Coordinate with MD, Label team and production to ensure that album data points are being met and discuss any production issues.
  • Under the direction of the MD, maintain regular progress meetings with Creative and Music Production teams. Take the lead on studio-wide meetings as appropriate.
  • Direct vocal recording sessions as and when needed or reassign to junior members of staff.
  • Ability to write and amend song lyrics and instrumentation as needed.

  • Under the direction of the MD, collaborate on developing sound and music styles for new strands of content.
  • Ensure albums are on schedule and on budget.

  • Finding freelancers: singers, composers and lyricists.
  • Revising and recording musical skeletons and vocal guides to be sent to creative execs, wider teams and/or singers.

  • Proven track record in music production.

This role will report full-time ON-SITE at our West Hollywood Office.

The Role

Moonbug is seeking an Art Director responsible for the visual style of the series and related marketing materials. This role will directs how the characters, props, and environments are going to look. The Art Director determines the design language of the show, which requires them to have an understanding of what the final, on-screen image should look like and how to get there. Working along with the show’s artists, the Art Director is involved in the visual development that communicates the artistic vision to vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and provides approvals of artwork, providing thoughtful feedback, as well as drawovers if necessary to external vendor pre-production stakeholders.
  • Generates artwork in areas of specialization which may include character, environment, props, textures, mood, lighting, and story concepts, which clarifies creative intent.
  • Participates in establishing key lighting for series episodes.
  • Accountable for on time, on-budget execution, and delivery of all design assets.
  • Communicates with senior production leadership to ensure designs fall on schedule and within scope.
  • Understands the design elements of projects, inspires and leads other creative workers, and keeps projects on budget and on time.
  • Determines how best to represent a concept visually.
  • Develops and maintains the overall look of the series as well as related content.
  • Reviews and approves designs, artwork, and additional graphics developed by other staff members for the series.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience within animation and visual development/production design.
  • Must have significant animation CG art direction experience in either/both short form or/and long form.
  • Extensive art direction experience in the children’s media space, ideally preschool content.
  • Keen eye for creating appealing designs for young audiences.
  • Leadership experience and well-developed teamwork skills.
  • Proven leader of teams and developer of people.
  • A problem solver; able to foresee issues and strategize and execute solutions.
  • Extremely organized, motivated, adaptable and personable, with a diverse skill set.
