The Pitch:

Looking to make the move and step up into a leadership role? Then this could be for you. We’re looking for another CD to join the creative leadership team. You’ll be the go-to creative for a couple of our accounts, leading creative teams with a focus on the best work possible. Guiding and shaping great ideas that hit the client briefs and make us all proud. Adept at presenting, you are able to work alongside client partnership teams to build our web3 presence. You’re used to negotiating your way to the best creative answers for the campaigns whilst keeping clients on our side. But you also know when to push back on the client’s feedback, and how to defend the work with grace and meaning.

For this role we need someone who is equal parts wordsmith and visual tastemaker. Your skills hail from the copy side of things – not only adept at conveying concepts with clarity, but write copy that motivates and connects across campaigns and media. That doesn’t mean that you don’t know visuals. Your years of experience will have added a depth of understanding visual language to your core skills. You’ll be working with visual partners be they creators, designers, editors or film makers and know how to make the most of their skills and draw a team together.

This is a full-time role based in NY, FL, or CHI.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Set the example to foster an environment of a more judgement-free creative world, by producing and testing a high volume of insights-based content.
  • Lead the development and execution of creative content rooted in insights for a variety of clients, including executing independently and responsible for overall output of the creative product
  • In collaboration with a CD partner, you will mentor and manage a full creative team of 15+ people, including designers, writers and creators.
  • Collaborate with inter-agency departments and teams to develop a variety of content needs that meets creative and strategic criteria (client briefs, feedback, client KPIs, etc.), and delivers on measurable business results for your client
  • Act as a dotted line to senior leadership, including C level stake-holders, to ensure creative excellence and meeting of brand objectives
  • Lead the development and growth of each team member, providing evaluation, mentorship, counsel, and determining assignments and incentives as needed. Monitor performance and progress, and manage up to the leadership team when needed.
  • Must understand, articulate, and strategically apply the latest platform, industry, creative trends, and digital best practices, always seeking the next opportunity for your brands.
  • Attend client meetings and be the voice that communicates creative vision and processes, bringing stellar presentation skills to the table.
  • Work to streamline creative processes to improve team structure at a wider level, providing input on wider operational systems as needed.
  • Actively support and participate in new business projects.

The ideal candidate has:

  • 10+ years of advertising experience, developing and creating for digital / social strategies + campaigns. Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Exceptional management experience leading large teams, including ability to qualify, prioritize and delegate workloads for your team.
  • Experience building strong client relationships and build confidence as a leader who can manage work while successfully interpreting their brands
  • Partner with clients to help them understand ideas and act as a guide in any situation, while able to pivot thinking and adjust style when necessary.

Position Summary

Company 3 is looking for an  Associate Producer to join its production team. The Associate Producer will work alongside the feature finishing producing team in a supporting capacity. This position will also participate alongside out producing team on regular status calls, production summaries and strategy meetings for high-profile feature finishing projects. 

Main Duties

The Producing team is responsible for oversight and management of the feature finishing production process from initial pre-pro phase through conform, color and delivery. The Associate Producer will coordinate with internal operations, scheduling and assist teams to schedule facility resources, set project priorities and ensure timely completion of all intermediate processes and deliverables as per client production schedule and requirements.

What You Bring

Currents News is looking for an experienced, ambitious, and creative journalist who can jump into a fast-paced newsroom environment to assist in the production of a Catholic–based TV news program. The associate producer wears multiple hats and plays a vital role in the day-to-day production of the newscast. You will work closely with the EP, reporters, and production staff. You will contribute by pitching stories, writing scripts, editing video, help with breaking news, learn how to line produce, write in-house packages, assist with the running of the assignment desk, and contribute to other brands within the news department.

Responsibilities:

  • Write vos and in-house packages

Job Description

As an Art Director on the Creative Campaign sub-team within our Creative Design team, you will be at the heart of coming up with big campaign ideas and boundless brand extensions, and work with teams across Cash App to bring them to life. You’ll be asked to translate project strategy into innovative advertising experiences across every medium. And you’ll be a big part of a small team tasked with launching creative marketing experiences that guide our mission, and drive our business and brand forward.

The Campaign Team focuses on creating innovative brand experiences that are built upon brand values and marketing strategy, solve for audience challenges, show up authentically in culture and are executed with a high level of craft. We work across most all traditional and non-traditional spaces, whether it’s the latest social platforms, video, web and mobile experiences, outdoor advertising, experiential installations, photography, animation, and more.

Our Creative Design team is made up of accomplished creative directors, copywriters, art directors, animators, designers and copywriters. This role reports to our Integrated Campaign Creative Director.

  • Develop and manage creative concepts through production. This includes conceptualizing and presenting ideas, planning the creative approach, and leading teams through working with footage, motion graphics and visual effects to tell the brand stories of our clients.
  • Lead teams through a diverse range of projects, large and small, from 2D cell animation to 3D based jobs to interactive projects.
  • Work closely with our Head of Production in choosing the appropriate resources for each job.
  • Compose treatments, style-frames, and boards to solve the client creative brief .
  • Mentor junior talent within the design department.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of art direction, post-production, motion design and animation experience.

  • Solid presentation skills. Comfortable presenting ideas to new clientele, and production progress to existing clientele.

Position: Creative Director

Rate: $150,000-$175,000 DOE

Our client, a family owned retailer, is looking for a Creative Director to join their team full-time! This opportunity will require Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays in their Acton office, with Mondays and Fridays remote.

As a Creative Director your will:

  • Work closely with their VP of Marketing and Art Director to develop their visual brand voice, revamping their existing brand and rolling out new brand guidelines
  • Manage and coach 3 direct reports including a copywriter, designer/ illustrator and social media manager
  • Execute and bring to life creative that spans print, digital, social, video and web
  • Identify and optimize branding strategy and creative assets based on industry trends
  • Aid in marketing strategy and how branding contributes to organic social content, video content and in-store marketing/displays

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience and demonstrated aptitude in brand identity, graphic design, and art direction; video production oversight will be highly valued
  • Background in retail or agency
  • Experience building a brand identity from scratch or revamping an existing brand
  • The ability to concept and flush out campaign work across digital, print, video, TV and social
  • Experience managing a team
  • Experience presenting and defending concepts (either client facing or internally)
  • Desire to remain hands-on with execution
  • Proven understanding of store design and visual merchandising
  • Experience hiring and managing external creative, media and PR agencies
