Position: Associate Producer, Commercial Finishing

Position Summary
The Commercial Finishing Associate Producer is responsible for working closely with Senior Producers to manage all aspects of a color/finishing project, from planning and scheduling resources, tracking and billing actuals against initial bids, and working with creative teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the Company 3 standards of quality. The role requires a basic working knowledge and desire to further understand post-production workflows (primarily color, conform, 2D comp, graphics, and final delivery video formats/specs in Flame).
Successful candidates have excellent communication and follow-up skills with both advertising clients and filmmakers, as well as internal artists & production teams. Other important qualities of successful candidates include effective organization and planning methodologies, strong attention to detail, a proactive and collaborative team attitude, and a positive mindset when adapting to evolving project needs. Hours will vary with individual projects and the role requires flexibility, which allows autonomous self-starters to thrive in this remote position. The candidate will initially support Senior Producers, while also being given growth opportunities to independently manage projects in a quickly growing department.
Main Duties
- Successful production/management of short form commercial color/finish projects.
- Communicating professionally with high profile advertising clients and filmmakers.
- Communicating and collaborating with internal creative and production teams.
- Working closely with other departments to provide a seamless client experience.
- Planning and scheduling staff and freelance resources with other producers.
- Building post-production calendars with posting and delivery milestones.
- Tracking and billing production costs within the scope of a project’s budget.

Position Summary
Company 3 is looking to hire an Episodic Associate Producer to join its team! In this role you will act as an extension of a lead producer and be a main point of contact while working with internal and external teams to organize, supervise, and monitor the progress of projects.
Main Duties
You will help the Lead Producer manage and drive online, color and delivery schedules. You will act as a main point of contact alongside your producer for your internal CO3 team and clients via in-person interactions, e-mail, and phone. You will also assist in maintaining effective communication with the internal team and clients regarding job status. You will help coordinate and verify project needs prior to any session start times and/or client arrivals as well as deliveries. You will help keep a pulse on all projects being produced including the status of individual show/episodes and budgets.
What You Bring
You will bring experience in post-production or a related field, knowledge of online editing and color correction process as well as digital deliveries.
- Finishing Post-Production Experience (Longform is a plus)
- Basic knowledge of offline editing, VFX and sound workflows
- Basic knowledge of scheduling the post process is a plus

Position: Post Production Coordinator

Position Summary
Company 3 Toronto provides Post Production services to some of the world’s top content creators and is known for its creative artistry, pioneering technology and global reach.
We are seeking a Post Production Coordinator who will work alongside our Producing team in a supporting capacity. The Post Production Coordinator we are looking for should have great inter-personal skills, be meticulous, always organized and work calmly and professionally especially during high pressure situations
Main Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients and work together with our team to manage client expectations.
- Be a supporting interface between our Producing team, client production and the various faculties and services here at Company 3.
- Provide afternoon/evening support for our Producing team and be the go-to resource for our West Coast clients until the end of their day.
- Assist in greeting and escorting clients to their bay/stage upon arrival.
- Oversee evening virtual sessions and in studio sessions and help coordinate hospitality services.
- Ensure session details and updates are effectively communicated to the client and our various departments.
- Keep the production team up to date on project status.
- Assist with ADR bookings and coordination.
- Maintain a portfolio of short films, sponsorship jobs and other projects as assigned.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of each assigned project.
- Organize pre-production meetings internally and with clients for each project.
- Coordinate with scheduling and internal operations to schedule facility resources and personnel.
- Evaluate and reprioritize tasks as needed to accommodate changes in the daily schedule.
- Assist Producers with work order and task creation.
- Assist with actualizing work orders to ensure invoicing happens in a timely manner.
- Cover reception on occasion when required.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- 2+ years’ experience in a client facing Post Production environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with competing priorities under tight deadlines.
- Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and an ability to work effectively both unsupervised and collaboratively with internal departments.
- An understanding of the Post Production workflow for both feature and episodic, from file-based dailies and off-line editorial, through to final mastering and delivery of picture and sound.
- An understanding of the Post Production scheduling process and the concept of deadlines therein.
- Knowledge of Xytech MediaPulse or other Post Production scheduling software experience a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to learn and process information quickly.
- Possess solid keyboarding skills and a good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with Slack/MS Teams a plus.
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization up through the executive level, maintaining professionalism.
- Able to work afternoon/evening shift and overtime (weekends) when required.
- This position is eligible for overtime.
