Job Description
As an Art Director on the Creative Campaign sub-team within our Creative Design team, you will be at the heart of coming up with big campaign ideas and boundless brand extensions, and work with teams across Cash App to bring them to life. You’ll be asked to translate project strategy into innovative advertising experiences across every medium. And you’ll be a big part of a small team tasked with launching creative marketing experiences that guide our mission, and drive our business and brand forward.
The Campaign Team focuses on creating innovative brand experiences that are built upon brand values and marketing strategy, solve for audience challenges, show up authentically in culture and are executed with a high level of craft. We work across most all traditional and non-traditional spaces, whether it’s the latest social platforms, video, web and mobile experiences, outdoor advertising, experiential installations, photography, animation, and more.
Our Creative Design team is made up of accomplished creative directors, copywriters, art directors, animators, designers and copywriters. This role reports to our Integrated Campaign Creative Director.
In This Role, You Will
- Translate brand strategy and human insight into powerful and purposeful creative solutions
- Develop innovative ideas and execute campaign projects across every medium.
- Produce, enhance, and voice creative presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Work with partners across Cash App (often collaborating with writers, designers, marketers, producers, and creative directors) to guarantee an integrated brand experience.
Qualifications
- You have 3 – 6 years of relevant creative advertising experience or freelance work
- You understand how marketing objectives, strategic positioning, and audience insights can influence creative ideation
- You have a portfolio of work that demonstrates an ability to conceive for a variety of audiences, brand challenges, styles, and media.
- You generate clear ideas and concepts that solve for brand marketing objectives
- You have an eye for great design and high production value, from initial presentation to final execution.
- You have experience pushing a brand forward with fresh, inventive ideas through both new and traditional brand channels / media
- You have experience working cross-functionally to launch creative deliverables
- You have an insatiable appetite for new content and culture, an irrational ambition to make things no one has ever made before, and a contagious passion for the work that confronts challenges with optimism.
