HERE’S THE RUNDOWN:

Greatness Media is hiring a Producer who will be responsible for the strategy, creation and editing of all audio and video content. You will work closely with our Associate Producers and the other members of our creative, marketing and production teams to transform ideas into long and short form video and audio content for Greatness Media marketing, School of Greatness podcast, Youtube, American Public Television, social media and much more. The ideal candidate is experienced performing all video creation tasks including pre-production, lighting, sound, shooting, and editing. Bonus points if you have a fun personality and love to talk with people!

HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Lead all video creative direction to accomplish audio and video production objectives
  • Lead strategy for production growth
  • Lead podcast guest strategy and communications such as pre-interview, interview, reporting, recording, editing and writing of scripts
  • Manage and direct all on site studio staging, lighting and equipment
  • Create and distribute social media content for promotion of podcasts
  • Manage team of editors
  • Manage the media for the archive and any future tapings, audio and video
  • Oversee refinement of current content
  • Attend regularly scheduled weekly meetings
  • Be available at short notice, including occasional weekends, as projects arise
  • Film and edit audio and video for products and services as assigned
  • And other duties as assigned

YOUR ABILITIES AND EXPERTISE:

  • 5+ years of experience in video and/or media production or journalism
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in digital media, cinematography, film studies or related field
  • Experience shooting viral short-form video content for social media
  • Some experience creating social media content
  • Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.
  • Proven work experience editing extensive video and audio content
  • Proven work experience working closely with talent (understanding the discretion needed and the processes for interacting with talent)
  • Experience in content creation with images, audio and video content for social media
  • Demonstrated video editing ability with a strong portfolio
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment on a wide variety of projects
  • Ability to perform routine video and audio equipment maintenance

Job Purpose

Producing and writing content predominantly for commercial brand activations on Marie Claire UK

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce shoots – commercial Virtual Beauty Shoots, editorial partnerships, celebrity covers, studio beauty shoots, fashion and beauty specials
  • Ensure projects are produced on time and within agreed budget
  • Work on all brand sponsorship and multi media deliverables – MC online, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter
  • Project manage with Creative Solution team
  • Work directly with clients to produce content plan, work through plan
  • Write pre-promotional, main and post shoot copy/captions for online and social media
  • Write features for commercial purposes
  • Work closely with each member of the shoot crew, organise briefings with director, call sheet etc

Work closely with the publisher and commercial team on partnerships and awards.

Role Specification

  • Handle on set production
  • Take BTS footage throughout the day
  • Handle invoices and budgets post shoot. Liaise with accounts for sponsorship PO.
  • If shoot being built by DEV (Celeb only)- send a doc to Dev team with all assets; final stills, moving image, main copy link to click out article, crew credits, sponsorship credits
  • Check sponsor brands handles and hash-tags to use on IG
  • Post MC IG stories with BTS shots and swipe up link to article
  • Post on MC IG main gram with shoot and tag all crew
  • For Covers only supply all assets to Online Editor and Social Media Editor for Social Plan
  • Send email to MC team- Shoot Post Round Up with images, videos, tags and press material (see example email)
  • Book still life shoots for beauty – brief photographer and source props
  • Source locations for shoots and negotiate the deal

Work closely with art team to make sure they have all the correct assets

Digital

  • Import videos, upload on MC online, Instagram, Youtube, Facebook
  • Build and upload online commercial articles with imagery, using SEO/keyword
  • Build and upload all beauty shoots
  • Produce videos for social platforms – single person/brand masterclasses
  • Liaise with PR’s to research stories, call in samples, HR imagery

Awards & Events

  • Support events production (commercial or otherwise) liaising with the editorial, advertising and Future events team.

Role Overview

The VP – Talent and Influencer Marketing is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key digital celebrity and influencer talent partners across content verticals. This person is also charged with sourcing, recommending and managing talent throughout the brand partnership process.

The VP – Talent and Influencer Marketing owns and is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Influencer team including strategy development, casting and deal-making, management and creative input for campaigns with multiple brand clients. This role also involves leading and supporting a small team.

Responsibilities

Overall:

  • Own the overall success of assigned campaigns with the aim of delivering above & beyond on behalf of the agency’s clients.
  • Manage a team of five direct reports including a coordinator, a talent associate and a talent manager
  • Manage the day-to-day workload across assigned campaigns, including delegating tasks to Associate or Coordinator and ensuring team alignment.
  • Build and present client materials including but not limited to talent slides, strategy decks and campaign reports.
  • Stay aware of trending talent and upcoming talent, as well as actively discovering trends in the industry and on platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Creative, Strategy, Production, Account) to ensure smooth communication and to improve on process and output; in some cases you may be responsible for developing process and communication.

Campaign Development (Casting & Deal-Making):

  • Work alongside Strategy team to develop campaign strategy for new business pitches as well as ongoing client campaigns
  • Lead talent search and qualification process with an eye for detail, including brand safety content audits, collecting thorough audience qualification and demographics, safety vetting etc.
  • Lead talent and agent communication professionally and in a timely manner, form initial outreach to receiving submissions and vetting agent response.
  • Find and propose talent internally.
  • Develop deal terms for talent, creative briefs, preparation of offers and contract management
  • Negotiate and manage deals; liaise with Reach agency counsel to ensure all contracts are accurate and all key needs are met.
  • Be responsible for SAG/Union deal terms where applicable, ensuring SAG paperwork is completed, billing is coordinated, etc

Campaign Execution (Management & Reporting):

  • Manage campaigns from end-to-end including creative briefing, timeline/deliverable management and creative reviews (internally and with talent/influencer).
  • Ensure talent posts are high quality and meet or exceed expectations – setting a tone and culture of quality across the agency.
  • Track audience sentiment in real-time and flag any potential issues, including influencer behavior, that could impact the campaign or client.
  • Develop end-of-campaign reports including gathering data and providing analysis, insights and recommendations.

Agency Leadership:

  • This is a department head role and you will be part of the leadership team
  • You will need to support and motivate your team to exceed expected goals
  • Collaborate and build bridges with the leads of other internal teams (Creative, Strategy, Production, Account) to ensure smooth communication and to improve execution on client work.

Requirements

  • You have 8+ years of experience working with celebrities and influencers in the digital space (with 3+ years experience in business affairs and talent contract negotiations)
  • You have established a reputation of integrity and trust in the marketplace.
  • You have established strong, multiyear relationships with digital celebrities, influencers, talent managers, talent agents and other key constituents in the talent representation ecosystem.
  • This person should be familiar with SAG policies for celebrity and influencer talent and be able to lead/advise on legal language regarding administration and contracts.
  • You have strong working knowledge of the social platforms and have experience creating influencer content designed for social distribution.
  • You are experienced and skilled at collaborating with brands and creative teams; bringing thought-leadership, creativity and strategic insights to brand partnership deals
  • You have strong social media acumen and stay current and interested in cultural trends, industry debates and platform innovations. This applies to all key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Twitter, etc..)
  • You have experience identifying and collaborating with influencers and streamers on behalf of brands
