Job Purpose
Producing and writing content predominantly for commercial brand activations on Marie Claire UK
Key Responsibilities
- Produce shoots – commercial Virtual Beauty Shoots, editorial partnerships, celebrity covers, studio beauty shoots, fashion and beauty specials
- Ensure projects are produced on time and within agreed budget
- Work on all brand sponsorship and multi media deliverables – MC online, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter
- Project manage with Creative Solution team
- Work directly with clients to produce content plan, work through plan
- Write pre-promotional, main and post shoot copy/captions for online and social media
- Write features for commercial purposes
- Work closely with each member of the shoot crew, organise briefings with director, call sheet etc
Work closely with the publisher and commercial team on partnerships and awards.
Role Specification
- Work closely with Creative Director
- Confirm sponsorship with brand, cost, deliverables and timeline.
- Confirm the correct format to shoot in/ exact measurements dimensions.
- Work on social plan with Social Media Editor
- Work on timelines
- Model castings – work with the top agencies, collate casting for Director.
- Negotiate models contracts
- Liaise with creative agencies
- Negotiate photographer’s contracts specific to each shoot
- Work with Future’s contract team on contract
- Confirm all crew and produce call sheet
- Handle on set production
- Take BTS footage throughout the day
- Handle invoices and budgets post shoot. Liaise with accounts for sponsorship PO.
- If shoot being built by DEV (Celeb only)- send a doc to Dev team with all assets; final stills, moving image, main copy link to click out article, crew credits, sponsorship credits
- Check sponsor brands handles and hash-tags to use on IG
- Post MC IG stories with BTS shots and swipe up link to article
- Post on MC IG main gram with shoot and tag all crew
- For Covers only supply all assets to Online Editor and Social Media Editor for Social Plan
- Send email to MC team- Shoot Post Round Up with images, videos, tags and press material (see example email)
- Book still life shoots for beauty – brief photographer and source props
- Source locations for shoots and negotiate the deal
Work closely with art team to make sure they have all the correct assets
Digital
- Import videos, upload on MC online, Instagram, Youtube, Facebook
- Build and upload online commercial articles with imagery, using SEO/keyword
- Build and upload all beauty shoots
- Produce videos for social platforms – single person/brand masterclasses
- Liaise with PR’s to research stories, call in samples, HR imagery
Awards & Events
- Support events production (commercial or otherwise) liaising with the editorial, advertising and Future events team.
