A student production is casting a Talk Show Host for the puppet musical short film The Grand Puppet Heist. The role features a lively host who introduces and concludes the story through a fictional late-night talk show format. The project blends comedy, puppetry, and musical storytelling, creating a fun and energetic tone throughout the film.

The character should be bubbly, charismatic, and capable of delivering engaging hosting-style dialogue similar to a late-night talk show personality. The host will guide the audience into the story and interact with the film’s humorous premise involving a group of puppets chasing their dreams of stardom.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a talk show host introducing and closing the puppet musical short film

• Deliver energetic and charismatic hosting-style dialogue

• Bring comedic timing and personality to the role

• Collaborate with the student production team during filming

• Participate in rehearsals or self-tape submissions if requested

Requirements

• Performer comfortable portraying a late-night talk show host personality

• Strong comedic timing and confident on-camera presence

• Background in presenting, comedy, hosting, or acting is a plus

• Ability to perform in a fun, energetic production style involving puppetry
