LA Market Retail Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will support the greater Retail, Brand, Product, and Finance teams in marketing all brands and new products, for the client. This person will serve as a liaison between departments to be the primary contact to execute all in-market strategies and initiatives and oversee all brand-enhancing efforts to drive brand awareness, new customer acquisition, and brand loyalty.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consult with Marketing / Retail Teams to develop marketing launch strategies and oversee all deliverables
  • Bring to market on brand exciting local engagement activities and events to build brand awareness – including vendor days
  • Coordinate and order assets for all new product launches and facilitate the involvement of the Brand Team as needed to execute and deliver in-market brand assets and brand collateral, etc

  • Oversee in-state digital ads and billboard activations to grow the customer base
  • Build relationships throughout cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business preferred
  • Marketing experience in CPG, or a specialty retailer, both B to B and B to C experience ideal
  • Experience handling multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines
  • Great eye and taste level for the brand, pulse on consumer trends
  • Strong attention to detail and the capacity to handle bold timelines. Ability to support multiple projects concurrently and prioritize projects along with ongoing ad-hoc requests and/or initiatives.

THE ROLE

Every Mother is looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the company’s acquisition strategy, operations, and performance. You will own channel execution, optimization, testing, and analysis across a mix of mostly digital media channels. You will also identify and test new channel opportunities to drive new customer acquisition. You will report to and partner with our Head of Marketing to develop and implement channel strategies that drive incremental growth in line with our revenue and CPA goals.

The Senior Growth Marketing Manager is responsible for driving performance by testing and executing campaigns directly or through agency/contractor relationships. Channels will include a mix of the following (but not limited to): paid social (FB/IG/Tiktok), YouTube, web retargeting/prospecting tactics, programmatic display, paid search, and SEO.

This role will also partner closely with Brand Marketing, Creative and Product. The ideal candidate is someone who understands the importance of a full-funnel approach, is curious and performance-led, and excited about analyzing data as much as they are about creative storytelling. In addition, this role will be responsible for vetting vendors and tools to add to our acquisition stack.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be a subject matter expert on your owned channels; stay up-to-date on industry trends, beta launches, and platform changes
  • Consistently explore new opportunities for innovation and testing via emerging tech, new vendors, platforms, and proactively deliver recommendations to management and the broader team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of professional experience in a DTC eCommerce performance-based marketing role including hands-on experience.
  • An expert with proven success in paid social (FB/IG, Tiktok), post iOS 14 changes
  • Comfortable, adept with hands-on experience in Facebook Business Manager and Google Analytics.
  • A full-funnel channel practitioner well-versed in campaign strategy/development, messaging, customer segmentation/ targeting and AB testing; the right person for this role is not just experienced with social and digital marketing execution but knows the intricacies of each channel and hacks to success
  • Substantial experience working with performance marketing metrics (CPM, CTR, CPA, CPC etc.) and attribution in new digital landscape
  • Successful ability to wear multiple hats – tactical planning, strategic execution, cross-functional relationship management, and analytical skills
  • Creative thinker with an eye for design
  • A go-getter with a positive attitude and bias to action who thrives in supporting cross-channel platform strategic campaigns

Role Description

The Brand Manager will lead product marketing management and brand-building programs for a specific product category within the Simple Mill’s portfolio. This role will use consumer insights, category/competitive insights, and business analytics to craft and implement breakthrough marketing initiatives that create a competitive advantage for the brand and support company strategic and financial objectives.

Who you are:

You are a detail-oriented team player who is hyper-organized and excited to learn and take on the role of Manager, Paid Media at a growing brand. Reporting to the Director, Digital Media, you’ll be a part of an innovative, fast-paced team that is dedicated to building a best-in-class media program that reflects Supergoop!’s brand values. You will support the Marketing team in developing and executing our paid media strategy, collaborating with DTC and Sales to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all paid programs, and continually keep a finger on the pulse of digital marketing trends.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Help create a best in class, full funnel media strategy to acquire new customers and nurture our existing database while staying true to our brand message.
  • Liaise with media agency partners to manage day-to-day performance and brand campaigns.
  • Analyze data and KPI metrics across media tactics and synthesize insights to report back to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other members of the marketing team to bring to life 360 activations for the brand.
  • Brief in media assets and work closely with Creative and Project Management teams to help facilitate a timely delivery.
  • Oversee influencer boosting strategy with emphasis on TikTok and IG Reels.
  • Stay up to date with beta product offerings across key platforms to identify new testing opportunities.
  • Drive international growth by working with regional teams to provide best practices and media oversight.
  • Work with retail teams to manage and advise on CoOp campaigns for key sales accounts.
  • Manage invoices and monthly budget accruals in coordination with finance.
  • Perform competitive analysis within the industry and identify new media platforms and trends as they arise.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in digital and/or paid media, on the brand, retailer or agency side. Beauty industry experience is a plus!
  • Strong understanding of the Digital Media landscape and emerging trends.
  • Well versed in media KPIs, specifically in Branding/Awareness and Direct Response.
  • Comfortable analyzing dashboards and data to draw meaningful insights.
  • Experience and/or familiarity with the following channels: Paid Social, Display, Search, CTV/Streaming, Audio, OOH, Print and Affiliate.

The Band Teacher teaches beginning to proficient skills in music education helping students develop their musicality and musical literacy on a specific instrument. · Plans and develops an engaging, age-appropriate course of study in the classroom, adhering to educational best practices in band and music education.

· Designs and presents individual lesson plans from beginning to advanced band as well as developing musical literacy using a variety of teaching techniques that appeal to various learning styles and methods. Instruction also includes pep and jazz bands.

· Prepares materials for lessons, assignments, and tests; evaluates, corrects, and grades student performance.

· Discusses academic difficulties or behavioral problems with students as they arise.

· Monitors students’ progress throughout the year and evaluates preparedness for high school.

· Communicates all progress and concerns with tact and professionalism to parents and, as appropriate, other faculty, staff, and/or division head.

· Builds and maintains positive relationships with parents.

· Enforces safety and security standards for students, staff, and visitors.

· Maintains required paperwork for individual student files, attendance and incident reports, and other necessary records.

· Participates in faculty meetings, educational conferences, in-service opportunities, workshops, and other training seminars.

· Maintains knowledge of research, developments, and best practices in music education.

· Produces concerts demonstrating what students have learned through the program.

· Performs related tasks such as sponsoring student activities or organizations.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Experience and Education.

· Bachelor’s degree required

· Teaching experience preferred

· Familiarity or experience with the classical Christian education model preferred

· Music Education degree preferred

· Currently held CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (with Epinephrine Auto Injector supplement included), or arrangements made to obtain certification within 90 days of employment start date
