As the Senior Manager, Paid Search, you are an expert in all things paid search and can bring innovative performance solutions to our 3p suppliers. Your responsibilities include building and growing strong senior-level client relationships, providing strategic direction to the team, maintaining the financial health of all performance accounts, scoping projects, and developing staff. You will set goals for the Search Performance Managers, remove roadblocks and track progress towards achievement of targets. You will effectively navigate the relationships between Walmart, our Suppliers, and our Platform Partners to drive optimal advertising performance and client success.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Establish team goals and KPIs and motivate the team to execute, measure progress, and share results
  • Monitor performance of Sponsored Products and drive activities to improve performance for optimal ROI and client satisfaction (bid adjustments, targeting changes, keyword harvesting, etc.)
  • Analyze search campaign performance against client KPIs and report on trends and insights to key stakeholders
  • Define metrics relevant to measure the performance of the team and evangelize with leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Continuously foster skill development of Search Performance Managers and stakeholders by helping to drive participation in ongoing training, workshops, lunch-and-learns, etc.
  • Participate in establishing business plan objectives with Account Managers and Campaign Managers
  • Explore automation solutions to minimize turnaround time for optimization tactics to be implemented by suppliers
  • Define performance and optimization processes, SLAs & best practices
  • Build and maintain knowledge base of workflows, SOPs, case studies, FAQs
  • Own the relationship with our senior client stakeholders, aiming for high client satisfaction and retention
  • Develop a collaborative working relationship with other agencies and platform partners
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify new growth opportunities
  • Accountable for thought leadership activity both with the client and internally, putting forward new topics of interest and championing creative strategic thinking
  • Ensure effective communication across internal teams as well as client & platform partners

What We’re Looking For:

  • Extensive experience managing performance campaigns across multiple paid search platforms
  • Retail/eComm within 3p marketplace and/or small & medium size businesses
  • Strong knowledge of keyword bidding strategies, budget cap management and optimization tactics
  • Experience with API and Self-Serve platforms is a plus
  • Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems proactively in a client-centric environment
  • Strong business communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to communicate / present to Sales teams and leadership
  • Ability to nurture and retain client relationships & understand how performance can feed into wider business goals
  • Strong managerial experience, including experience hiring, developing, and mentoring a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and navigating ambiguity
  • Experience working with financial data and budgets
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet common goals
  • Experience of working with senior-level stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Results-driven with a desire to affect change, drive revenue and gain visibility with leadership
  • B2B experience is a plus

You will work closely with the Sales team, Account Management, Campaign Management, and API/Ad Tech partners and be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, managing budgets and bids, optimizing account configuration, keyword targeting and reporting/insights.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the media/retail media industry and a background in the paid search landscape. This is an analytical and revenue focused role solely dedicated to the search product.

  • Define performance and optimization process & best practice guidelines and create robust knowledge base for internal/external use
  • Own the relationship with our senior client stakeholders aiming for high client satisfaction and retention
  • Reach and exceed KPIs established in partnership with suppliers, retain advertisers/revenue and reduce churn.
  • Responsible for owning the key metrics focused towards driving exponential growth of search.
  • Monitor account performance and ensure accurate billing and forecasting to ensure the financial health of accounts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field and 2 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area.
  • 3-5 years work experience in the advertising industry with focus in paid search, retail search and/or eCommerce.
  • High level of comfort with direct client interaction, including presentations and strategic recommendations, with the ability to translate technical concepts into client-friendly language
  • Experience in developing media strategies based on data, insights, and analytics.
  • Strong experience in Google Ads, Bing, Yahoo!, Amazon, Co-op Advertising and all paid search terminology and key tools (e.g., AdWords, AdCenter, Retail Search, etc.).
  • Strong analytic and quantitative skills that enable you to use data to develop, validate and measure search campaigns.

We are seeking a Technical Principal Product Manager, NLU with a focus on state-of-the-art natural language AI models, such as Large Language Models (LLMs) to join our team. As the Principal NLU Product Manager, you will manage the development and success of our NLU/LLM-based products. The Product Manager is responsible for the overall management of assigned product lines, including managing the product portfolio to optimize sales, gross margin profitability, and product assortment.   • Develop pricing guidance tools and processes to maximize overall product line profitability, taking into consideration legal guidelines, product positioning, current competitive situations and long-term competitive standing

  • Work with Marketing Communications to confirm product claims and detail product features and benefits for the development of sales tools; assist in defining the communications strategy; ensure production elements (parts for samples, color chips, etc.) are delivered to meet launch timetables; train Market Development Representatives and Siding sales organization and key customers on updates and changes to the product portfolio
  • Coordinate (in conjunction with Technical Associates) competitive product testing to support product development and selling communications including requesting competitive samples from the field and working with engineering to determine suitable metrics; as appropriate, effectively communicate learnings and implications to key audiences (Marketing Communications, Market Development/Field Sales, Customer Service, Operations)
  • Interact with Market Development Representatives, sales organization, and Marketing Communications as necessary to support selling initiatives including sales blitzes, tradeshows, local events, customer visits, and flawless installation support
  • Interact with R&D and/or Engineering on code related issues
  • Ensure product installation manuals are developed, disseminated, and maintained as appropriate

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or comparable discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required
