Job Description

Executive Producers oversee the Delivery teams: the VFX Producers and VFX Supervisors assigned to the delivery of shows, accountable for all aspects of planning and execution of project delivery and financial success.

They are a senior commercial representative for MPC, forging strong client relationships and speaking for the company in critical negotiations. They are a point of escalation during deliveries, and key contributor during the bidding and award of new projects.

As well as these relationships, the EPs work extensively with the Senior Management teams and Global leadership team to achieve the business objectives and manage the company.

The EPs collaborate as a global group to ensure that the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for all aspects of Producing are upheld and continually improved.

All EPs report directly to the Global MD but may report operationally to Senior Management in their location.

 

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities Include:

(The following is a list of responsibilities which are central to all EPs. Individual EPs may have separate key objectives and duties, depending on their location, strengths and position within the company)

  • Liaise and negotiate on major changes in award scope, value and schedule
  • Regular calls with all clients to ensure continuity and transparency of Producer reporting, and that high delivery service is maintained
  • Meets with VFX Producers & Supervisors weekly to monitor project financials
  • Accountable for quota & schedule achievement, ensuring schedules are competently planned and executed
  • Attends weekly Delivery Management meetings to collaborate with Senior Management Team on delivery statuses and undertake actions where necessary
  • Briefs Producers weekly, cascading relevant information to Producers at all times
  • As key member of Senior Management Team
  • Provide constant training, feedback and mentorship to all Producers and is a role model for all Production
  • Ensures a healthy and productive work environment and duty of care for all employees

  • Communication skills – ability to lead a team, manage diverse personalities and viewpoints; the ability to build relationships and collaborate with others
  • Scheduling – there should be a proven ability to schedule work of a complex nature, especially within the VFX space, with a thorough understanding of quota-based tracking and forecasting
  • Adaptability – the will to shift gears mentally and deal with both ambiguity and fluidity, whilst supporting and leading others through the same
  • Finance – understanding Profit and Loss, budgeting, analysing bids vs. actuals and spend vs. Completion.

Our retail client based in Madison, VA is looking for a video producer to join their team on a full-time basis. The video producer will be responsible for creating and executing video content for marketing campaigns.

 

Candidates must be willing to commute to Madison, VA for shoots.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce video content for marketing initiatives such as social media, email, website, and other marketing collateral
  • Operate video equipment (i.e., cameras, computers, lighting)
  • Manage studio and location shoots including location scouting, freelance and model booking, etc.
  • Upload videos to YouTube, Vimeo, and other platforms
  • Maintain detailed records of production
  • Work with stakeholders and internal teams during pre-production and production as needed
  • Manage and update video archives
  • Travel overnight or work extended hours as needed

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years in video production, preferably in the commercial video production industry

Position Summary

We are looking for a senior content producer to join our rapidly growing marketing team. This is a rare opportunity to help build a creative content team from the ground up. This role will own the creative vision of SHEIN’s weekly live stream and all US brand marketing content from ideation through completion.   • Create compelling, high-impact customer-facing content to increase brand and product awareness and educate customers across various digital channels.
  • Manage and produce 3-4 livestream shows a week from concepting, producing, planning, logistics etc. Livestream shows run from 7pm-9pm and on Sundays.
  • Support entertainment, events and social media teams with content strategy.
  • Plan and execute content for new product launches and campaigns.
  • Build and develop the content studio team including in-house photographer and videographer, stylists, live stream technicians, etc.
  • Film, edit, and produce quick turn assets for a myriad of projects and needs
  • Ability to effectively manage and clearly communicate overall project timelines, project deliverables, and resourcing needs
  • Manage day-to-day critical issues and troubleshooting of production challenges
  • Build relationships with cross-functional teams to deliver against brief while creating an environment that allows for innovation

 

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of experience in content production required, ideally in a creatively driven environment (marketing, advertising, agency, production company).
  • Passion for marketing and storytelling
  • Creativity and an excitement for bringing fresh ideas to the table (Creativity to bring stories to life is important)
  • Knowledge of content creation and production processes, ideally within an ecommerce business model.
  • Established network of creative, production, photography and freelance agency partners.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
