Springville Center for the Arts is a growing multi-arts center located in a rural community in Western New York State. Programming includes theater, concerts,  exhibits, workshops and more based out of an 1869 former church. We are seeking a seasonal Youth Theater Manager to assist with our summer programming.

Responsibilities: The Youth Theater Manager is responsible for managing and assisting SCA’s summer college interns in developing workshop and lesson plans, creating set pieces for performances, and coordinating performance and event logistics. They will create programs to teach and build a greater appreciation for the visual and performing arts in our community.

Duties: Manage, schedule, and support a team of theater interns. Work closely with Visual Arts and Musical Theater interns in all production aspects. Teach summer workshops in schools and in the community while working with other staff in other event related duties.

Qualifications: Candidates should have their Bachelor’s degree or be a recent graduate in theater or other related fields. The ideal candidate can develop and manage schedules, assist in the creative process for theater productions, and instruct college-aged summer interns.

What You’ll Do –

Benefits

Base salary range: $90-125K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.

Position Summary:



Thrill one is looking for a Creative Producer that will manage all aspects of project and production logistics, from concept to delivery, for the Content and Creative team. You will produce shoots, manage vendor and contractor relationships, and build strong internal department relationships across the organization. This role requires a keen understanding of production capabilities, emerging technology, and trends in the industry. You will work closely with drivers, athletes, and talent from a content and creative standpoint to ensure that all deliverables are executed at the high quality that Thrill One expects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, produce, and manage storytelling content across the Thrill One portfolio – Nitrocross, Nitro Circus, and Street League Skateboarding.
  • Oversee all project and production logistics for social media, long-form and short-form content, series, broadcast segments, and sponsorship assets.
  • Produce video shoots on location, at events, and in the office.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to lead creative project and campaign brainstorms and refine creative ideation into impactful and measurable creative executions.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including production vendors, rental vendors, shooters, editors, and production assistants.
  • Provide quality assurance on all video and design content including short and long-form, social, website, broadcast, sponsorship, and sales and promotional.
  • Build and reinforce internal department relationships across the content, creative, social, marketing, ticketing, sales, and operations teams.
  • Research and advise on production capabilities and emerging production technology and trends.
  • Work in tandem with the Social team in providing social reports, industry trends, and relevant insights.
  • Manage production budgets and advise on content spend across the organization.
  • Work closely with drivers, athletes, and talent from a content and creative standpoint, forging strong professional relationships.
  • Project manage all requests and campaigns across the content and creative team to ensure all deliverables are tracked, assigned, and delivered at the high quality that Thrill One expects.

Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in production capabilities and emerging production technology and trends.
  • Proven experience in project and production management within the sports, action sports industry, or entertainment industry.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience with asset management and working knowledge of video and graphic file types
  • Social media savvy with a deep understanding of platform-specific content strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce high-level, on strategy creative solutions that meet standards of creative excellence

• Develop original ideas and concepts that answer product briefs through multiple design solutions with consistency of being on target with objectives and brand strategy

REQUIREMENTS

• Multi-disciplinary designer with 8+ years of overall experience in the beauty or fashion, packaging design experience required

• BA or BFA in Design, Arts, and/or Graphic Design

• Advanced/Expert Apple computer skills in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, with a specialty within Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

• Detail oriented designer who is comfortable with shifting design direction and working on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and creative resolution skills

• Self-starter who will participates in all aspects of the programs from concept through execution

• Ability to quickly generate concepts and visually communicate those ideas with renderings and/or comps

• Ability to take initiative and know how to design ahead proactively without always being prompted

• Demonstrated ability to meet tight timelines and work productively in a team environment are required

• Excellent time management skills with ability to project manage workload autonomously is a must

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $60 to $85 an hour. the AVMF is a thriving Foundation dedicated to increasing charitable resources for the support of the veterinary profession & those that love and care for animals & has strategically positioned itself as a national charitable resource & priority for the support of the veterinary profession, veterinary students, & the care of animals.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this newly created position will develop & implement targeted strategies focusing on annual giving donor renewals, acquisition, & reacquisition; working collaboratively with team members to devise & execute plans incorporating direct mail, digital, and peer-to-peer outreach into annual giving campaigns. They will manage prospect & suspect information data requirements & analysis; as well as research that effectively supports & directs annual giving efforts as well as major gifts. They will oversee all donor relations & stewardship functions & establish & ensure development & implementation of a comprehensive donor recognition plan with the goal of driving donor satisfaction & continued giving. Directs strategy & creates a comprehensive stewardship plan for all donors tiered to impact level while overseeing all donor acknowledgement, engagement, recognition, & reporting initiatives, including overseeing all impact reporting, small recognition events, & creation of custom impact pieces for donors.

To be successful in this role, you must be highly collaborative and passionate about AVMF’s mission, additional qualifications include:

  • BS/BA degree required, with a minimum of 5 years of related experience in fundraising, annual giving or stewardship with a proven track record of success in securing gifts from individuals and other sources.
  • Related experience in higher education/College of Veterinary Medicine preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, listening & collaborative skills are required.
