A fashion event in Chicago is seeking production crew members and assistants to support an upcoming showcase. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fashion and events industry while working with a professional team.
Job Responsibilities

Assist with setup, steaming garments, and breakdown after the event

Work as dressers and showroom assistants to support models and event staff

Male models may be cast to serve in a host/server position

Sales assistants with prior experience will help manage customer interactions

Ensure smooth execution of the event alongside production staff
Requirements

Must be available between August 14–19 (full availability not required)

Reliable, professional, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Previous sales or fashion event experience preferred for specific roles

Male talent should be comfortable modeling/serving as required

Selected staff will work across multiple shifts and event days, supporting food and beverage operations and providing exceptional guest service throughout the event.

Espresso Baristas: Prepare and serve coffee beverages efficiently in a high-volume environment.

Food & Beverage Support: Assist with setup, restocking, service flow, and breakdown of food and beverage stations.

Servers: Provide professional guest service, assist attendees, and maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas.

Arrive on time and work all assigned shifts

Maintain professional appearance and demeanor

Follow event guidelines and on-site management instructions
Requirements

Must have a valid EIN

Must be able to work as a 1099 independent contractor (this is not a W-2 position)

Ability to work all event dates and shifts

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced event environment

Must complete KPG’s mandatory onboarding webinar and create a company profile to be considered
Compensation

Espresso Baristas: $755.00 (3-day rate)

Food & Beverage Support: $720.00 (3-day rate)

Servers: $600.00 (3-day rate)
