Responsibilities

  • Write a minimum of 5-10 articles per week in Screen Rant’s house style (following the requisite training and peer mentorship period)

  • Pitch story ideas when none are readily available
  • Remain up to date on upcoming releases and rumours

Requirements

Job Summary:

Provides direction, creative development, and management of global live broadcasted competitions in North America, Europe, Latin America, Oceania. The broadcast producer will look after the full vertical of a show supporting competitions across one or more of Pokémon’s organized play and esport programs.

What you’ll do

  • Lead live broadcast productions for Organized Play and esports ensuring projects remain on track and in budget.
  • Create and manage production schedules and deliverables ensuring on time delivery of assets and successful execution of shows in person and online.
  • Develop and manage stream schedules in coordination with internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
  • Regularly communicate all pertinent broadcast information with stakeholders and cross functional teams to ensure broadcasts meet brand, legal, and game standards, by market and distribution platform.
  • Be a resource for new ideas, creating pitches and show scripts for new broadcast initiatives
  • Investigate, propose, and implement new broadcast technology improving the viewer experience.

What you’ll bring

  • Three (3) to four (4) years of related professional experience.

What We Are Looking For

The Senior Producer will have the unique opportunity to work on the first-ever, audio-only singing competition series alongside a team of seasoned television and audio professionals. You’ll work closely with the Co-Executive Producer, Showrunner, and the Senior Supervising Producer to craft compelling storylines from initial interviews through episode scripting and assemblies.

The ideal candidate has an interest in reality programming, live performance, and narrative, non-fiction storytelling. They’re excited by innovative, audio formats, the creative problem-solving that may come with it, and excel in team and talent management. This position requires professional podcast experience.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Produce episodes from initial idea to final draft, building episode scripts and audio sessions, while maintaining season arc and consistency across the series
  • Ensure seamless communication between internal and external production partners including contractors, AWM staff, and network executives throughout all stages of production
  • Collaborate with Co-Executive Producer and Music Director to plan recording schedule including interviews, music sessions, and more; ensure appropriate recording set-up for quality tapings
  • Manage assets and paperwork related to production, including scripts, timelines, and talent agreements; create production documents including call sheets, sides, etc.
  • Prep podcast host and talent for recording sessions (song choices, challenge, recaps, etc) while demonstrating high level of professionalism in working with celebrity talent
  • Lead contestant, host, and talent recording sessions with a deep understanding of remote audio technology and software
  • Support on-site producers in capturing “day in the life” audio with contestants
  • Source additional field tape, archival assets, and audio elements such as sound effects or music stems in partnership with post-production team
  • Coordinate with Associate Producer and post-production teams to log tape and organize assets, as well as build assemblies and versions of episodes

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years experience working in audio or podcast production or relevant media
  • Previous experience with celebrity talent and/or host management, including writing for talent and leading voiceover recording sessions
  • Ability to edit audio, assemble drafts and entire episodes in digital audio workstation and manage script edits through cycles of revision
  • Proficient in professional DAWs (Pro Tools, Adobe Audition); familiarity with Descript is a plus, but not required
  • Working knowledge of podcast and recording best practices, including appropriate software and gear, as well as how to “tech check” and quality control during tapings and post-production

Role Details:  

Inside Edition Digital seeks a News Associate Producer to help bring Inside Edition’s broadcast show to digital audiences. You will be in charge of writing headlines and copy for IE’s video platforms (InsideEdition.com and YouTube) and will play a crucial role in optimizing television’s longest running news magazine for digital distribution.  

The ideal candidate is skilled in crafting engaging copy, well-versed in rights and clearances, and is a deft communicator among multiple stakeholders. • Flagging digital permissions and rights issues, and working with legal team, broadcast producers and digital video editors to clear segments for digital distribution

Summary:

As an Executive Producer you will be responsible for helping build and drive the vision and business objectives for your product slate. This will include managing relationships across NBC Universal teams, affiliate brands and external partners, to create profitable games and digital activations in alignment with our global strategy. You will own the execution of the products through all phases of the development cycle, from concept, pre-production through to global release and live operations. The successful candidate will have a strong mix of creative, technical, innovation and managerial experience within the games and digital space.

As Executive Producer, you will be hands-on in the development of games and also play a leadership role within the department by managing a high-performing team. The EP reports to the SVP of Production and works with all business stakeholders both internally and externally.

Responsibilities include:

  • Help develop and drive the vision for the business around a portfolio of products and digital activations derived from NBC Universal intellectual properties.
  • Oversee the development and production of successful products and activations through understanding best in class creative, process, analytics, as well as a deep knowledge of the competitive marketplace and how to create opportunity within it.
  • Ensure the execution and quality of live operations including prioritized roadmaps, optimization, and monetization as well as applicable strategies for testing product iterations.
  • Manage the team while maintaining close communication with external developers or partners to ensure they meet deadlines, objectives, and quality standards.
  • Create strong, positive relationships with the broader NBC Universal company, including peers, brand, and franchise partners across broader NBC Universal to achieve beneficial solutions and deep understanding of the intellectual properties.
  • Partner with the leadership team to deliver on short and long-term development and strategy objectives by translating those into clear and communicable operational and action plans.
  • Provide regular risk assessment and define mitigation strategies to deliver product/activation strategies and monetization goals.
  • Create a culture to develop, inspire, attract and retain high performing team members.
  • Look for new opportunities in developing areas of the games and digital markets, leveraging advanced technologies such as blockchain and NFT’s. Develop a deep understanding of these constantly evolving spaces and provide paths to activate using NBC Universal intellectual property to sustain and grow our overall business and engage fans.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 10+ years relevant work experience including a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Senior Producer or Director developing digital interactive products or experiences.

• 4+ years’ experience managing cross-discipline teams.

• Must have a passion for games and strong understanding of the free-to-play mobile market, console/AAA game space. Development in blockchain/NFT’s a plus.

• Understanding of key metrics for digital interactive products including, but not limited to monthly active users (MAU), daily active users (DAU), average revenue per paying user (ARPPU), average revenue per install (ARPI), conversion rates and how these metrics can and will impact the product strategy.

• Strong track record overseeing published products, live operated services and/or games as a service.

• Proven track record in building highly effective interpersonal business relationships and generating business in a highly matrixed organization.

• Ability to project manage and work effectively under deadlines and in complex business environments through collaboration and utilizing supporting and partner teams.

  • Perform as an actor/singer in 4-8 shows per day in assigned area according to show schedule
  • Perform in parade, scheduled shows, and character walks in/out of costume
  • Complete warm-up on individual basis to ensure performance without injury Develop skills/knowledge to maintain excellent quality show/appearance
  • Follow through on performance notes to ensure progress in specific areas
  • Assist those in character costumes with dressing and undressing
  • Consistently practice safe work habits including, but not limited to use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations
  • Assist in the daily operational aspects of assigned show, reporting prop/costume repairs in a timely manner.
  • Work with cast/crew and management to maintain the integrity of the show
  • Perform and complete assigned tasks from management as needed
