Executive Producer

Responsibilities:

  • Will be expected to drive innovation, to create, share and anchor a strong creative vision and to secure execution of all projects assigned.

  • Management of multiple outside production companies on multiple series and specials simultaneously, and in coordination with internal departments to ensure best possible outcome of each series.
  • Adherence to and accountability for all aspects of editorial and production standards.

What we’re looking for: Spectrum News is launching a new national news product which will stream 24×7 on a new OTT platform. Spectrum News is in search of a Producer who will create newscasts as part of a national editorial team. Our national news puts impactful, not sensational, stories and information into context to demonstrate to viewers how their lives are connected to domestic and world events.

The Executive Producer, National News will be responsible for leading a team of producers and associate producers in the production of live and recorded national newscasts. The EP will be responsible for story selection and execution, working with news management throughout all Spectrum Networks and coordinating editorial logistics with the National Content Hub, reporters, producers and technical staff in locations throughout the U.S. The EP will also be responsible for producing special reports and series.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Supervisory responsibilities for newsroom staff and station personnel working on newscasts with particular emphasis on Producers and Associate Producers, ensuring the department’s staffing and assignment needs are met.

FranShares is looking for a PAID Social Media Video Production Intern to assist with consistently and persistently producing content relating to our company and the financial investment industry. The ideal candidate has intermediate experience creating tiktoks, including scripting and editing. This position is flexible, but we are targeting 5-10 hours per week.

About the role:

  • Write, film, and edit short-form videos for our social channels including TikTok and Instagram reels.
  • Plan and create new videos to be used in marketing initiatives.
  • Part time
  • Hybrid, filming content for social channels will be in-person.

 

About you:

  • You can translate boring financial investing content into engaging and entertaining tiktoks using current trends.
  • You have intermediate experience creating tiktoks, including scripting and filming and editing.
  • Knowledgeable and up to date on different social media trends and best practices.
  • You’re a college student or grad familiar with TikTok and Instagram reels.
