Casting Call: Casting Intern

Job Details: AWC is currently seeking enthusiastic and creative individuals to join our team as Casting Interns. This is an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates who have a passion for media, music, culture, and film. As a Casting Intern, you will play a vital role in the casting process for various projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing and managing casting calls and auditions.
  • Review and evaluate audition tapes and portfolios.
  • Collaborate with the casting director to identify potential talent.
  • Conduct research to discover emerging artists and performers.
  • Communicate with potential talent to schedule auditions and provide necessary information.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of auditions and talent profiles.
  • Assist in coordinating callbacks and follow-up meetings.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless integration of selected talent into projects.

Requirements:

  • A recent college graduate with a degree in film, media, performing arts, or related fields.
  • A genuine interest and passion for media, music, culture, and film.
  • Proficiency in using Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship position. However, interns will gain valuable hands-on experience in the casting process and will have the opportunity to work closely with industry professionals. Additionally, successful completion of the internship may lead to future opportunities within AWC or industry referrals.
