Role Description
This position is a full-time, hybrid role for a Senior Art Director located in Chicago. It is not a remote position. We feel that creativity and inspiration comes from collaborating with each other. We only have a two-day mandatory in-office requirement which allows for building team camaraderie that results in great work. Our Senior Art Director role is multi-faceted. You will be responsible for leading and collaborating with the creative team to execute on client projects, develop design solutions, and produce work that effectively communicates the client’s brand and story. The Senior Art Director is also responsible for ensuring that the creative team is working on brand and in line with the client’s objectives, managing multiple projects and timelines, and collaborating with other team members to create effective and integrated campaigns. Our creative team members works across all clients and all types of projects, from mundane banner display advertising campaigns to fully-integrated brand relaunches. And everything in between. It is a challenging environment which calls for a detail-oriented person who is part creative genius and part in-the-trenches production grunt. If this sounds like you, then make sure we notice you. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising Design or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in creative design, branding, and visual communication within an agency or related company
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a creative team, manage timelines and multiple projects, and coordinate and collaborate with other departments within a company
- Excellent communication, presentation skills, and experience working with clients, internal teams, and senior management
- Strong design skills with experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other related tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, manage changing priorities, and produce quality work within tight timelines
- Experience in both traditional and digital design solutions, including print, social, video and motion graphics
