A documentary production is seeking experienced camera and audio professionals for a one-day shoot in Dayton, Ohio. The project centers on events following unrest in the Democratic Republic of Congo and requires skilled crew members comfortable working in a documentary-style, on-location environment.

This is a paid opportunity for local crew based in or near Cincinnati, Dayton, or Columbus, Ohio. BIPOC professionals and women are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Camera Operator: Capture documentary footage and interviews; provide and manage a professional light kit suitable for on-location filming.

• Audio Technician: Record high-quality sound using boom and lavalier microphone kits; ensure clear dialogue and ambient audio capture.

• Collaborate closely with the director and production team to execute the visual and audio approach.

• Maintain efficiency and professionalism throughout the one-day shoot.

Requirements

• Must be local to Cincinnati, Dayton, or Columbus, Ohio.

• Prior experience in documentary or field production preferred.

• Camera Operator must provide a light kit.

• Audio Technician must provide boom and lav kit.

• Submit reel and professional references.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced production environments.
