Job Description
A sitcom comedy pilot titled “It’s The Little Things” is now hiring experienced film crew members for an upcoming production in South Florida. The production team is seeking skilled and reliable professionals to help round out the crew for a multi-day comedy shoot. This is a paid opportunity to work on a scripted sitcom project, collaborate with a creative team, and receive IMDb credit.

Job Responsibilities

  • 1st Assistant Director (1st AD): Oversee scheduling, coordinate daily production logistics, and ensure smooth on-set operations.

  • Camera Operator: Operate camera equipment for scripted scenes (must own a BMP4K or 6K camera).

  • 1st Assistant Camera (1st AC): Manage focus pulling, camera setup, and maintenance.

  • 2nd Assistant Camera (2nd AC): Support the camera department with slate, media management, and gear organization.

  • Gaffer: Lead the lighting department and execute the lighting plan for comedic scenes.

  • Grip: Assist with rigging, light support, and on-set equipment setup.

  • Sound Mixer: Handle on-set audio recording and mixing (please specify if you own your own sound kit).

Requirements

  • Must be local to South Florida (no travel or lodging provided)

  • Prior experience in the specific crew role applying for

  • Professional attitude and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment

  • Must provide reel and/or resume

  • Must submit day rate with application

  • Camera Operators must own BMP4K or 6K camera equipment

Compensation

  • Paid position (rate TBD/negotiable based on experience)
