Miami Talent Casting is seeking a dynamic voice actor to bring “The Grouch,” a unique and eccentric character, to life in an upcoming campaign for a major sports brand. “The Grouch” is a middle-aged, snake-human hybrid living in an abandoned football stadium. Despite his mischievous demeanor, he’s a passionate sports fan who generously gifts custom-made shoes to his favorite players.

The character’s voice requires a goblin-esque quality—nasally, with a touch of baritone when provoked, and a hint of a snake-tongued lisp. His speech has a sing-song, chaotic rhythm, often escalating into a frantic, loud delivery when he’s excited about his obsessions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide the voice for “The Grouch” in both commercial and digital media.
• Capture the character’s unique vocal traits, including a nasally tone, chaotic cadence, and snake-like lisp.
• Work with the production team to deliver professional-quality recordings.
• Record remotely if located outside Southern California, with a professional home studio setup and Source Connect.

Requirements:

• Male, aged 30-60, any ethnicity.
• Must have a professional voiceover demo showcasing similar character work.
• If outside Southern California, must have a professional home studio with Source Connect.
• Comfortable delivering an animated, high-energy performance.

Compensation Details:

• Rate: $5,000 flat fee for the project.
• Includes recording sessions over a three-day period.
