POSITION SUMMARY:
The Art Director is responsible for strategic content creation from inception through completion. Reporting into the Vice President and the Executive Director, the art director develops concept campaigns from ideation to execution of all assets for a 360 campaign. The ideal candidate will create extraordinarily strong storytelling and is an analytical thinker, able to create holistic content and execute breakthrough consumer-centric initiatives across our brand channels – print, digital, and social media. They will work cross-functionally with Copy, Digital, Visual Merchandising, and the Social team to develop campaigns. The candidate will be an innovative, strategic, passionate creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
RESPONSABILITIES:
- Create awe-inspiring, strong story-telling creative content creation/campaigns
- for all global programs that resonates with target audiences.
- A definitive creative vision, a high level of design sophistication, a keen eye for photography, and strong typography skills are essential.
- Direct projects from concept through coordination of photo shoots, retouching, mechanical production and release.
- Lead with various departments and functions including Designers, Visual Merchandising, Copywriters and Production Artists during project development.
- Partner with Operations to meet fast paced timelines
- Ensure best in class standards are being met.
- Integrate specific projects with overall brand standards and style guidelines.
- Take ownership of deliverables and initiatives with acute attention to craft and detail
- Be able to present ideas to senior management team
- Must have a good eye for layout and details and an expert in luxury space.
- Must have a good eye for color and experienced in image color markup
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Position requires 8+ years related experience at a traditional ad agency or similar experience in a brand creative studio.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, and Keynote to create presentation decks
- Good interpersonal skills required, a team play mentality.
- Is self-motivated and resourceful with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Conceptual thinker. Being able to ideate, present, develop, and execute projects from start to finish in highest quality.
- Ability to work in a fast- paced environment, manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities and creative approaches.
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous and detailed oriented in both your technical work and your ability to expertly present your designs
- Great understanding of luxury market and be familiar with trends in culture, luxury arena, design, technology, user experience, and social media
- Understanding and implementation of animation and video production skills a plus.
- Working knowledge of prototyping tools (InVision, Marvel, etc.)
- Story boarding, motion graphics and video experience
