We are seeking to hire a Social Media Coordinator that’s keen to jumping in on the action! This individual will be friendly and have an aptitude for people- capturing our company culture around the office & at events, featuring our employees, and showcasing our construction projects. In addition to capturing social media content, this individual will be a team player who loves to collaborate and contribute to brainstorming new ways to put our brand and message in the best light and most authentic way to accurately depict the innovative approach our clients have on the construction industry, and to recruit highly skilled individuals to join their respective teams.
Responsibilities
CREATE:
- Develop strategies and tactics to market the company and create brand awareness
- Create, write and proof original written content that is contextual to each social channel and aligns with the brand strategy and company culture to review with social media manager in the form of post copy drafts, story boards, journalistic interview questions & prompts for social features & to promote engagement, etc.
- Utilize basic video, photo editing and design skills to produce graphics, short videos, and animations for
- social posts
CAPTURE:
- Identify and organize opportunities to capture social media content at our office, with local partners, and on external jobsites.
- Comfortable capturing footage from a phone, GoPro, and/or camera, and editing short videos and photos for social posts
- Be available for occasional work outside of normal working business hours for monitoring our social channels and capturing event-related content when necessary.
COLLABORATE:
- Work with the marketing team to manage the social media content calendar
- Work cross-functionally with other internal teams to get the assets you need and to align with company-wide and industry-wide initiatives
- Collaborate on design and marketing projects from ideation to execution with the marketing team
ENGAGE:
- Own community development, not only monitoring and responding to comments, but actively engaging others with our industry, establishing networks with industry leaders, as well as with clients & potential clients
- Consistently brainstorm to identify new ideas and strategies to drive engagement and audience growth, sharing new marketing ideas and inspiration
ANALYZE:
- Actively research industry-related news and client-related news, as well as trending topics within the Construction Industry (events & education, industry advancements, widely recognized dates within the construction community)
- Analyze social media performance analytics, and share high-level weekly & monthly reports with the marketing team, adjusting optimal post times as necessary
- Keep pace with the social media marketing industry’s trends and developments, keeping the broader team informed of how they could be used to reach our team goal
Qualifications
- You know what type of content works best on each channel: namely Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, as well as keep up with happenings on more trendy channels like TikTok
- You know the fundamentals of Adobe Creative Suite and are someone who can constantly generate/source ideas and can tap into resourcefulness to get things done effectively.
- You are personable and work well with others, ready to dive in and engage with those you are filming and featuring, making them feel as comfortable and natural as possible
- You have a knack for identifying opportunities within conversations or daily happenings for social media coverage or spotlights
- You are talented with words and have an eye for design — able to create unique, engaging visual content and written captions for social media.
- Experience creating content including static graphic design, short motion graphics, photo manipulation and video edits
- You have a strong understanding of the social media landscape, functionality available on each platform, and have a true interest in staying on top of new developments/changes.
- You can manage multiple projects, ensuring things are done efficiently, well organized and on time.
- You relentlessly pursue excellence and have a high attention to detail

Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications or relevant field

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Videographer/Editor position requires skills in a high-volume production environment specializing in the final storytelling of a project. This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the filming and editing process for company video projects. This position requires a diverse knowledge of industry standard types of cameras and production equipment along with basic Avid editing skills. They will work closely with the Producers, Videographers and Editors on staff to ensure projects are completed on time and with the highest technical and aesthetic standards. They are responsible for maintaining the company’s production assets and working with the department production calendar so that equipment is ready for each project.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support production staff with variety of projects using production gear including various models of cameras, lenses, tripods, and other gear related to shooting.
- Work with Production team to build sets for production needs.
- Assist with general duties.
- Maintaining production equipment before and after projects.
- Coordinate the tracking of all production assets.
- Assist with research and ordering of equipment.
- Support with reporting and tracking maintenance and repairs of production equipment.
- Ingest media into company’s archiving system and prepare media for Editors.
- Log footage and edit basic to intermediate level projects.
- Operate additional cameras as needed for production needs including live events.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: Minimum college or trade school experience in production or similar field..
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical field experience working in multiple aspects of film and video production.
- Color grading at intermediate level.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Thorough understanding of fishing, hunting, and other outdoor skills as required to best work with production team in outdoor recreation company.
- Strong work ethic. Outgoing personality with ability to interact within group of creative individuals in a dynamic and constantly changing environment. Willingness to react with short notice to changes in daily routine.
- Willing to travel as required – often locations require extensive driving and multiple night stays with early and late hours.
- Strong communication skills – able to understand direction and make themselves understood when communicating objectives for accomplishing story lines or goals of a production.
- Thorough knowledge of Avid non-linear editing systems, specifically the Avid Media Composer or similar.
- Strong working knowledge of various codecs, containers and file types used in today’s media environment.
- Able to work within a team environment including in the field or studio and in the post process, editing and finishing.
- Able to lift and carry heavy equipment in variety of terrain and conditions from very hot to very cold.
- Good driving record, able to secure Missouri Operator’s License Class E.
- Good organizational skills: able to keep multiple projects balanced at any one time
- Strong video resume required. This resume should demonstrate samples from all of the areas mentioned above.
