Multigenerational Family for Tourism Photo and Video Shoot

Job Description

A tourism project is seeking non-union talent to portray a multigenerational family in Williamsburg, Virginia. The production will capture non-speaking photos and B-roll at accessible attractions, including an archaeology center and art museums. Casting is open to mixed-race and open-ethnicity families, including parents, children, grandparents, and other relatives. The production is also interested in including a younger wheelchair user to highlight accessible tourism experiences.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray members of a multigenerational family for tourism content
• Participate in professional photography and B-roll filming
• Visit designated tourism attractions during the production
• Follow direction from the creative and production teams
• Perform naturally in non-speaking lifestyle scenes
• Participate in a full-day shoot

Requirements

• Non-union talent

• Parents approximately ages 30–40
• Two to three children approximately ages 7–16
• Grandparents or additional relatives, such as an aunt or uncle
• Couples and family groups may be considered
• Younger wheelchair users are encouraged to be considered for accessible tourism scenes
• Must be able to work in Williamsburg, Virginia

Compensation

• $1,400 for an extended family consisting of parents, 2–3 children, and 2 additional family members
• $800 for a family consisting of parents and 2–3 children
• $600 for a couple
• Rates are for a full-day booking and usage, less applicable fees

Job Description

A heartfelt Make-A-Wish video project is casting for two paid roles filming in the Washington, D.C. area. Casting directors are seeking emotionally expressive performers for a visually driven short film about self-discovery, resilience, and reconnecting with the world. This production features minimal dialogue and places a strong emphasis on subtle facial expressions and authentic emotional storytelling.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray one of the featured characters in a dramatic short film.
  • Deliver authentic emotional performances with minimal dialogue.
  • Follow direction from the creative team throughout production.
  • Participate in scheduled filming during the week of August 17.

Requirements

  • Principal – Candace: Female of color, ages 18–25. Must be able to portray an intelligent, grounded, emotionally restrained young woman with strong nonverbal acting skills. Potential for multiple filming days.
  • Dayplayer – Elderly Woman: Female, age 70+, open to any ethnicity. Must be comfortable portraying a warm, meaningful supporting role. Anticipated one filming day.
  • Strong facial acting and emotional expression are required.
  • Must be available to work in the Washington, D.C. area.

Compensation

  • Principal (Candace): $450 per day (less agency fees), potential for multiple filming days.
  • Dayplayer (Elderly Woman): $400 per day (less agency fees), anticipated one filming day.

Job Description

A resort lifestyle commercial is seeking men and women for a paid advertising campaign featuring outdoor and leisure activities. This commercial is looking for fresh faces with a natural, active lifestyle who can authentically portray guests enjoying resort experiences. Selected talent may appear in scenes featuring golf, swimming, hiking, dining, chairlift rides, and other recreational activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray resort guests enjoying a variety of outdoor and leisure activities.
  • Follow direction from the production team during filming.
  • Wear your own natural, everyday wardrobe suitable for a resort setting.
  • Style your own hair with a clean, natural look.

Requirements

  • Men and women.
  • Ages 30–50.
  • Open to all ethnicities.
  • Must be a new face and not have previously participated in a Massanutten Resort project.
  • Comfortable participating in lifestyle activities such as golf, swimming, hiking, dining, and chairlift rides.
  • Able to provide authentic, casual wardrobe and natural hair styling.

Compensation

  • $300 for a half day.
  • $750 for a full day.
  • Potential travel stipend may be available.
