The Role
Moonbug is seeking an Art Director responsible for the visual style of the series and related marketing materials. This role will directs how the characters, props, and environments are going to look. The Art Director determines the design language of the show, which requires them to have an understanding of what the final, on-screen image should look like and how to get there. Working along with the show’s artists, the Art Director is involved in the visual development that communicates the artistic vision to vendors.

- Oversees and provides approvals of artwork, providing thoughtful feedback, as well as drawovers if necessary to external vendor pre-production stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the workflow of the audio team
- Ensure audio deliverables remain on time and on track.
- Serve as a liaison between the audio team, creative team, the production pipeline, and any external or internal stakeholders.
- Provide all notes with stakeholders to ensure next steps and actionables are completed by the necessary audio team members in a timely fashion.

- Proven ability to build and lead a team, collaborate cross-functionally and confidently communicate with executive leadership
- Experience in responsive web design/web CMS layouts and wireframing
- A great work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a larger direction.
- Experience in the healthcare industry preferred
- Strong project management skills; you are disciplined to meet deadlines, stay organized, receive, and give thoughtful and constructive feedback to achieve results
- A proven ability to incorporate strategy into action across multiple marketing platforms.
- A strong portfolio showing off your work, design-thinking, and experience is a must
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design or similar
- Proficient in Adobe CC and can navigate and/or easily adapt to Microsoft platforms
- General knowledge of HTML and CSS
- After Effects and video editing a plus
- Experience with Pardot/Marketing Cloud a plus
