This role will report full-time ON-SITE at our West Hollywood Office.
The Role:
Moonbug is looking for a talented Music Manager to join our CoComelon team at our Los Angeles office!
Responsibilities:
- Manage the workflow of the audio team
- Ensure audio deliverables remain on time and on track.
- Serve as a liaison between the audio team, creative team, the production pipeline, and any external or internal stakeholders.
- Provide all notes with stakeholders to ensure next steps and actionables are completed by the necessary audio team members in a timely fashion.
- Traffic out deliveries to the necessary stakeholders.
- Ensure to communicate any roadblocks or issues that may arise with the line manager.
- Provide clear communication to the audio engineers and the composers of any notes for revisions and changes to make the music, lyrics, guide vocals and SFX.
- Quality check/cross check the music, lyrics, guide vocals and SFX.
- This included word pronunciation of the lyrics in the guide vocal, complexity of a melody, pacing of a melody and emotional elements of a composition, quality of SFX for characters, placement or use of other SFX throughout the episode.
- Work with the production department to coordinate and schedule voice talents recording sessions:
- Create guide SFX tracks for vocal talents.
- Oversee and coach vocalists during the recording sessions.
- Relay the story with the composer and help map out the structure of songs, including interludes, transitions, verses, choruses, intros and outros.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to collaborate closely on existing and future projects with numerous teams.
- Possess both technical and musical expertise to push the creative envelope to new heights whilst adhering to numerous quality and brand guidelines.
- Experience with Cubase, ProTools, Logic Pro, Google Suite, Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Properly and accurately gauge timelines required for completion of work.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Videographer/Editor position requires skills in a high-volume production environment specializing in the final storytelling of a project. This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the filming and editing process for company video projects. This position requires a diverse knowledge of industry standard types of cameras and production equipment along with basic Avid editing skills. They will work closely with the Producers, Videographers and Editors on staff to ensure projects are completed on time and with the highest technical and aesthetic standards. - Assist with research and ordering of equipment.
- Support with reporting and tracking maintenance and repairs of production equipment.

- Operate additional cameras as needed for production needs including live events.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: Minimum college or trade school experience in production or similar field..
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical field experience working in multiple aspects of film and video production.
- Color grading at intermediate level.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Thorough understanding of fishing, hunting, and other outdoor skills as required to best work with production team in outdoor recreation company.
- Strong work ethic. Outgoing personality with ability to interact within group of creative individuals in a dynamic and constantly changing environment. Willingness to react with short notice to changes in daily routine.
- Willing to travel as required – often locations require extensive driving and multiple night stays with early and late hours.
- Strong communication skills – able to understand direction and make themselves understood when communicating objectives for accomplishing story lines or goals of a production.
- Thorough knowledge of Avid non-linear editing systems, specifically the Avid Media Composer or similar.
- Strong working knowledge of various codecs, containers and file types used in today’s media environment.
- Able to work within a team environment including in the field or studio and in the post process, editing and finishing.
- Able to lift and carry heavy equipment in variety of terrain and conditions from very hot to very cold.
- Good driving record, able to secure Missouri Operator’s License Class E.
- Good organizational skills: able to keep multiple projects balanced at any one time
- Strong video resume required. This resume should demonstrate samples from all of the areas mentioned above.
