Right now we’re looking for 1 more host to join our video team. Someone who’s passionate about helping people develop themselves by showing them new ways to look at the world. We want someone who can make people excited to create and experiment.

We’re looking for someone with passion, drive, and excitement for teaching, creating, and experimenting. Someone who can lead a project-based demonstration in a way that enables parents to follow along and do the project or experiment with their kids to help them learn and grow.

Most importantly, we’re looking for people who are passionate about making a difference in the world. People who feel called to help share the awe and inspiration that comes from hands-on-science, being a creator, and driving people to trying something new.

We are requiring applicants to submit an audition video before they will be considered. Video/audio quality must be legible, but otherwise doesn’t affect our final decision. We’ll provide a few project ideas, and award the position to the person we feel provides the best results, and is best suited for the job.

Key job responsibilities

  • Ideate and develop innovative 360° marketing experiences that tell engaging stories, communicate benefits, and drive viewership of IMDb TVs Original and licensed content offerings as well as deepen the affinity for the brand.
  • Craft high level creative strategies, briefs and presentation decks that effectively sell holistic campaign approaches that ladder to defined strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and agencies to develop a single vision for multi-show initiatives and effectively sell your work to peers and senior leadership with conviction and passion.
  • Elevate the creative output of any internal partner or agency/production company vendor to ensure that all marketing assets meet a high level of creativity, innovation and brand association on time and within budget.
  • Forecast resourcing needs and work with key stakeholders to drive a schedule for projects while prioritizing and using resources effectively.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need to excel at sourcing and crafting an emotionally compelling narrative that hooks viewers immediately and keeps them watching until the very end. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The Director of Photography / Video Editor assists in the creation of digital content for various video/digital projects for the marketing team. The Director of Photography / Video Editor reports to the Digital Media Director and will work on a range of projects including internal and external videos, brand commercials, and other video executions. This position is also responsible at times for performing the functions of producer and works closely with writers, artists and motion graphics designers, and business owners executing program design with a high degree of ownership and responsibility.

This is a project of the MA Writing for Stage & Screen at University College Dublin.

The short film will be directed by Barrie Dowdall who recently helmed the drama documentary “Violet Gibson, the Irish Woman Who Shot Mussolini”.

OSCAR (21) and Aiden (21) are best friends. To earn some extra money, Aiden suggests producing gay content for an online platform – even though both boys are apparently straight. Oscar is hesitant, but agrees. Just before they upload their first video, Oscar has second thoughts. He is afraid that the people in the village might really think he is gay. A discussion between the lads arises that reveals how they really feel about each other. While Oscar admires Aiden for his strength and self-confidence, Aiden seems to have more than friendly feelings for Oscar.

The Associate Producer (Experiential Marketing) will work directly with Account, Creative and Financial teams, as well as key clients, to ensure memorable event experiences, executed flawlessly, on schedule, within budget and exceeds all expectations. Agility, professionalism, attention to detail and grace under pressure are key attributes required for this position.

Please note: this is not a Broadcast/Media Producer position.

The Associate Producer will be primarily responsible for the production and execution of elements including but not limited to:

  • Schedule development
  • Budget development and on-going management
  • Identification of qualified suppliers
  • Developing bid specifications and support of the bid process
  • Content management of project deliverables
  • Project execution

Key Skills and Accountabilities:

  • Must have proven experience in the live event environment

SCAD Atlanta seeks an experienced associate producer for executive media who can utilize field and studio production skills as well as research and creative writing expertise to promote the president of SCAD, the university’s signature events, and its opportunities.
In this full-time position, you will also support the supervising producer of executive media in the production of high-quality videos for SCAD social media initiatives, among other duties.
Successful candidates are resourceful, self-motivated, and demonstrate the flexibility to handle last-minute schedule changes of the president’s office and SCAD esteemed guests. Candidates should have a mature, positive approach to requests and be adept at reacting with a sense of urgency while remaining calm. Excellent time-management skills are a must, as is the ability to multi-task without sacrificing quality. Candidates must have a strong commitment to professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Knowledge of art, pop culture, the entertainment industry and operational crew hierarchy, social media content creation, and concept pitching is strongly preferred, as is some experience with videography, audio, and editing practices.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, television, film, or related discipline
  • Valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience
  • At least two years of on-set, on-location video production experience
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally on limited notice
