We’re Looking For

  • At least 5 years’ experience in custom quantitative research
  • Proven strength in all areas of quant practice from survey design to data analysis, able to tell the story with actionable outcomes. We’d expect you to be great in all aspects of questionnaire design, analysis planning, and reporting/story telling.
  • Someone who is passionate about movies and series – we work with the biggest entertainment clients in the world! – and experience to back that up.
  • Someone who is comfortable and confident thinking strategically, articulating and guiding others in uncovering consumer insights, and translating them into actionable outcomes for our entertainment clients.
  • Comfort with owning the day-to-day management of multiple projects simultaneously, developing and managing project workplans and ensuring timely completion of tasks within project deadlines.
  • Ability to manage project team members (including direct reports), assigning roles and responsibilities, monitoring work progress, and providing guidance where needed.
  • Experience with mentoring junior team members, including goal setting, skills tutorials, side by side writing, project management, etc.
  • Clear communication skills: you’ll need to be transparent and proactive in keeping internal and external stakeholders abreast of project progress.
  • Professional maturity in surfacing any issues (e.g., moving quickly, with solutions) and recognizing when to escalate situations or ask for help.

It’ll Be Helpful If You Have

  • Custom / ad hoc research specifically in the Media and Entertainment space – though we’re open to folks with experience in other categories, as long as you’re ready to jump into Media and Entertainment with both feet!
  • Experience with hybrid qualitative-quantitative research and ability to effectively integrate the two in reporting; if you’re a hybrid and can handle both disciplines equally well, all the better!
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in the Social Sciences, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, or related fields.

Per the pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is $95,000 to $120,000. Our Consumer Marketing team within the Streaming group is charged with distribution and monetization of premium content across the spectrum of digital partnerships and business models. This includes our direct-to-consumer subscription service.

The Consumer Marketing Team is a diverse and agile group that works in an exciting and fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally across different departments and partnering with multiple technology/distribution partners to ensure that we deliver streaming content to consumers, however and wherever they want to consume it.

Role Details:

  • The Manager, Awards will play an integral role in elevating our series & films for FYC awards contention throughout the year – including Emmys, Oscars, Critics Choice, guild awards and many more
  • Reporting to the Senior Director, Awards Strategy, this role will work closely with cross-functional teams – including creative, publicity, program marketing, media and more – to ensure seamless communication and asset delivery, while helping to build awards presentations and other key materials
  • The position will also help with management of marketing awards submissions (e.g. Clios)

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Create compelling awards presentations and other materials for studio partners, showrunners and internal stakeholders
  • Work with various teams to help streamline logistical elements of FYC campaigns – including communication, approvals of creative assets & media placements, and various promotional initiatives
  • Stay on top of awards cycle/schedule and landscape throughout the year to ensure the team is consistently maximizing FYC impact

Seven League is a fast-growing digital sports agency. The company was founded in 2011 and has since grown to over 50 full-time staff with additional associates in 14 European countries. What You’ll Do:

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving brand presence via content and community building through digital channels. This role requires creation of strategic programmes to engage with digital communities, partners and athletes to grow content distribution and syndication, looking for trends and insights, and growing overall digital revenue streams. The right candidate will be able to work across different stakeholder groups to proactively research, plan and identify content syndication opportunities and negotiate and deliver on these opportunities, whilst proactively developing, implementing, tracking and optimising content distribution programmes across various digital channels.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

  • Identify, cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with a broad spectrum of digital content partners across all channels to drive content distribution and revenue growth.
  • Create strategies to build, grow and manage online communities.
  • Lead the end-to-end syndication of our content to key media partners and manage the ongoing development of optimised content syndication workflows
  • Work closely with colleagues across marketing, production and commercial teams to ensure that syndication and distribution of content is considered at the ideation and planning stage
  • Research and build relationships with media partners and content creators across the world of sport and entertainment more broadly (these could include publishers, creators, streamers, podcasters, bloggers, influencers etc)
  • Initiate, negotiate and close distribution agreements with key media partners across web, mobile, apps, streaming services and connected TVs
  • Work closely with the internal marketing and content teams to develop initiatives designed to increase content views and engagement levels
  • Work closely with broadcast delivery team to help deliver more value for rights holders through content and liaise with them on delivery formats
  • Working with proprietary software to manage content distribution
  • Onboarding and managing stakeholders to guarantee commitment and investment in the tools and project
  • Liaising with sports teams, athletes, broadcasters and sponsors for day to day content management
  • Reporting on campaign metrics
  • Presenting ideas, campaigns and strategies to clients of all levels of digital maturity
  • Understanding the latest digital trends, and reporting this back to the wider team and clients
  • Other duties that are within the scope of the role may be required.

You Will Have The Following Strengths:

  • Experience in a digital content distribution role.
  • A keen understanding of digital technologies, social media platforms, websites, apps and content production
  • Experience working with post production houses and understanding of types of media.
  • Experience with reviewing content licence agreements
  • Experience of building relationships and creating commercial opportunities through 3rd party publishers and outlets
  • Prior experience working with key decision-makers in the content distribution system is an asset
  • A passion for digital culture and sport.

In this role, you are part of the Global Partner Integrations team and the primary owner of partner operations globally. You are experienced in the development / execution of scalable and consistent global operations processes that govern the end-to-end lifecycle of partner integrations, such as QA, partner rollout management, and incident response. You are passionate about taking a data-driven approach to devise proactive strategies to address potential issues and improve operations and refine them continuously. You are comfortable developing, monitoring, representing partner reliability metrics to top company leadership and stakeholders. This role will lead a global team of operations engineers and QA engineers across different time-zones.

 

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in reliability operations, engineering, or quality assurance functions with a proven track record of being a successful team leader / people manager of a global operation
  • Ability to lead the design, implementation and delivery of highly complex operations framework with measurable success criteria that is consistent and scalable to support different products, operations and partner response capabilities 
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with internal / external stakeholders of different levels and functions
  • Report on the status of partner operations, incidents and action plans to the senior tech leadership teams. Must be able to provide root-cause analysis and technical details for incidents and work across impacted teams to develop a solution
  • Define partner operations and reliability metrics / success criteria and lead a continuous effort to refine them to gain better insight on partner operations
  • Ability to analyze data to identify potential issues / opportunities and develop proactive action plans with measurable outcomes to improvement partner operations
  • Possess deep knowledge of the core system technologies relevant to partner integrations and ability to dive deep with engineering / operations teams to investigate and improve our support architecture

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in New York City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $197,000 – $296,000 salary per year.

Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. MailOnline, the world’s largest English-language newspaper website with over 202 million unique monthly visitors globally, is looking for a talented assistant editor/channel manager with experience of growing established YouTube channels to help grow our presence on the platform.

This role is based in our New York newsroom, with a hybrid work style (some days in office, some WFH). Candidates not based in the NY metropolitan area will not be considered.

The successful candidate will have:

Deep experience with YouTube as a platform, as a creator or platform manager

Knowledge of YouTube Creator Studio and the YouTube Content Management System

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere

Ability to script explainer and original content packages

Previous video experience in a media environment / newsroom

Excellent editorial judgment

Experience of quick turn-arounds, with multiple projects on your plate at any given moment

A solid understanding of social video platforms and formats

Keen analytical mind that can turn data into insights

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of internet culture and wider digital video landscape

Key responsibilities include:

Creating key YouTube assets including thumbnails, headlines, descriptions

Implementing video SEO and journalistic best-practices to optimize and grow channel

Researching, planning, and developing news-based original video content

Pitching and creating YouTube Shorts that grow the channel strategically

Organize livestreams and utilize YouTube’s Community tab

Editing, implementing motion graphic templates, coloring and mixing, and delivering per specifications

What You Will Do

  • Project manages audio visual rental and staging jobs from start to finish.
  • Creates project estimates alongside the salesperson.
  • Maintains and updates equipment list, crew assignments and travel details.
  • Organizes and attends site surveys and preproduction.
  • Works with labor coordinators and operations department to ensure proper crew, transportation and equipment is supplied.
  • Manages on-site staff and interfaces with clients and venues during setup, show and strike of events.
  • Closes out projects and assist in the invoicing process.

What You Will Need

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • 10 years in the audio/visual industry
  • Knowledge and experience with lighting
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Associates Degree in Project Management or related field strongly preferred.

Marquee Sports Network is seeking a Director – Broadcast Operations to help manage the complexities of a live TV network environment. The Director – Broadcast Operations will report to the SVP Broadcast Operations and will assist in the overall technical management of the facility and studio operation. Duties include:
– Work with production coordinator on daily schedules and technical assignments for in studio and remote studio productions
– Reviews all 3rd party operations invoices for accuracy to ensure proper billing for services rendered.
– Tracks departmental expenses related to remote studio and game productions
– Creates and distributes tech books for all remote productions including Cubs games, remote studio productions and others as needed.
– Provides internal management coverage for Cubs games along with other Directors in department
– Hires, and assigns all technical managers for remotes, Cubs games and studio. Tech manages games and or studio remotes as back up when necessary.
– Collaborates with Sr. Director Technical Operations in overseeing technical facilities and personnel for studio productions and remote studio productions.
– Generates and distributes technical operations department staff schedule with SVP
– Work with SVP Broadcast Operations on budget allocations for facility and operational expenses.
– Develop and implement cost reduction, work simplification and method improvement programs.
– Manage security team including preparing and adjusting work schedules in accordance with staffing needs.- Effectively interact with department heads as needed for special projects with SVP

Qualifications & Requirements:
– Minimum of 7-10 years of experience working in broadcast environment
– 3-5 years of experience in technical management
– Experience in studio and remote operations
– Knowledge of TV technology
– Willingness to work nights, weekends holidays as schedule will revolve around Cubs calendar and all live sports and entertainment programming
– Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with expert and lay audiences.
– Able and willing to take on special projects and assume new responsibilities.
– Effective time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work both autonomously and on a team.
