JONESWORKS, strategy-driven communications, marketing, and management agency, is seeking a driven, creative, and highly organized Account Coordinator (Talent + Entertainment) in our Los Angeles office.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for public relations, a strong work ethic, and previous experience supporting teams in building brand audiences, increasing awareness, and engaging consumers across every touchpoint of new and traditional media.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist with the coordination and management of programming to strategically position our talent clients
• Help develop innovative, results-driven public relations and marketing programs to support client objectives, launches, activations, etc.
• Assist with vetting incoming client and media opportunities
• Assist with drafting, reviewing, and editing internal and external materials such as pitches, press releases, agendas, etc.
• On-site assistance at relevant client events, content shoots, red carpets, etc.
• Research relevant media outlets for client outreach and create and update media lists to maintain accurate contact information
• Actively network with media across entertainment, lifestyle, business, trade, and consumer outlets and maintain strong relationships
• Support research to support programming
• Oversee preparation for meetings/calls, including agendas and recaps
• Conduct daily media monitoring and develop monitoring reports
• Recognize potential client complications and flag to supervisor
• Compile monthly client results reports
• Support individual account teams by assisting with various administrative tasks, such as event and travel logistics, as well as calendar management
• Maintain sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information

Requirements:

• 1+ years of relevant PR experience across a variety of entertainment clients
• BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to execute multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
• Ability to take and apply direction from supervisors
• Effectively manages time, meets deadlines and works with supervisors to manage priorities

Roles:

1. Female Senior

   • Age: 65+
   • Role Description: A regular transit user who takes pride in her seniors discount. We’re looking for someone who embodies the wisdom and warmth of the elder generation.

2. Child

   • Age: 8-12, any gender
   • Role Description: Enjoys riding the train with their parent. We’re particularly interested in children applying alongside their dads, to capture genuine family interactions.

3. Student

   • Age: 21-25, any gender
   • Role Description: A student commuting to school, representing the daily life of young adults in the education system.

4. Male Working Professional

   • Age: 35-50
   • Role Description: He’s a working professional commuting into the city on the train with his child. Dads applying with their child are highly encouraged, to showcase real parental relationships.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in a one-day video shoot in the Greater Toronto Area.
• Work closely with the director and crew to bring the character to life.
• Follow direction and provide feedback when necessary.
• Be prepared to perform multiple takes to ensure the best possible outcome.

Requirements:

• Must have Arabic heritage.
• Located in or able to travel to the Greater Toronto Area for the shoot.
• Comfortable being in front of the camera.
• For child roles, a parent or guardian must be present during the shoot.
• No previous acting experience required, but must be able to portray the role authentically.
• Must be available for the entirety of the shoot day.

Compensation Details:

• The compensation ranges from $575 to $2575, depending on the role and final edit inclusion.

This Paid Search Manager will be reporting to the agency’s Head of Search and responsible for building and implementing paid search strategies for a number of assigned key accounts (food/bev delivery, consulting firm, electronics/consumer goods).

The Paid Search Manager must have experience performing in-depth analysis against KPI’s, owning day-to-day optimizations, designing and implementing innovative test ideas, managing paid search budgets, providing performance metrics/reporting, etc.

Ideal Paid Search Manager candidates will have:

– 3+ years of paid search advertising experience

– BA degree in business, math, marketing, engineering, science or related field

We are currently seeking a lead re-creation talent for an upcoming documentary series. This series aims to provide an in-depth look into some of the most pivotal and intriguing figures in US history. The role involves re-creating the actions, speech, and mannerisms of one of the deadliest clandestine drug chemists in US history.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray the subject closely by resemblance, cadence of speech, and delivery of actions.

• Participate in scenes primarily seated on a sofa, simulating an interview scenario with officials.

• Work closely with the director and production team to bring the character’s story to life authentically.

• Follow direction for scene setup, dialogue delivery, and action sequences as per the script and director’s vision.

Requirements:

• Gender: Male

• Ethnicity: Caucasian

• Age: 65-75 years old

• Appearance: Must have gray eyebrows, gray mustache, and stubble facial hair. Height is ideally 6 ft, but this is not a strict requirement.

• Skills: Strong acting skills with the ability to mimic cadence of speech and delivery of actions as per the role. Experience in re-creation or documentary-style filming is a plus.

• Wardrobe: Candidates are advised to refer to the provided photo for suggested audition wardrobe to closely match the character’s appearance.

• Availability: Must be available on either February 12 or February 13, 2024, for a full 10-hour shoot day.

• Transportation: Must be able to self-report to the set location in the Philadelphia area without any travel expense support from production.

Compensation: $300 + 20% talent agency fee (if applicable)
