Job Description:
A major feature film starring Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista is seeking union and non-union extras of all genders, ethnicities, and ages to work on location in Oahu. This is an incredible opportunity to be part of a high-profile production while experiencing the excitement of being on set. No prior acting experience is necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray various background characters as directed (tourists, locals, festivalgoers, beachgoers, etc.).
- Stand in or double for principal actors as needed.
- Follow on-set directions and work collaboratively with the production team.
- Be punctual, professional, and ready for long shoot days if required.
Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be available to work on Oahu.
- Open to union and non-union talent.
- Comfortable following directions in a fast-paced environment.

Casting for “Dasher” – A Short Film by Alexander Bocchieri
Job Description: We are seeking talented actors for lead roles in “Dasher,” a short film that chronicles a chaotic Christmas Eve with a down-and-out food delivery driver and a fiery restaurant worker teaming up for a series of adventures. The film explores themes of rediscovery and the pursuit of dreams against the backdrop of a hectic holiday rush.
Roles Available:
- Josh (Lead): A Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander male in his late 20s to early 30s. The character is a clever and spirited food delivery driver with a good heart, caught in the frenzy of holiday deliveries.
- Kayla (Lead): An Asian or Asian-American female, also in her late 20s to early 30s, who is bilingual. She is a quick-witted restaurant worker whose sharp tongue hides a compassionate nature.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray the assigned character, bringing depth and authenticity to the role.
- Collaborate closely with the director and other cast members to deliver compelling and believable performances.
- Participate in rehearsals and adhere to the filming schedule.
- Engage in promotional activities related to the film as required.
Requirements:
- Must fit the ethnic and age profile for the roles as described.
- Strong acting skills, with the ability to convey a range of emotions non-verbally.
- Fluency in English required, additional language skills as specified for Kayla.
- Ability to work locally in Oahu, Hawaii.
- Open to both union and non-union talent.
- Must be committed to the project’s timeline and available for all production dates.
Compensation:
- This is a paid opportunity under the SAG-AFTRA Short Program Agreement.
