Overview
Looking to add a talented full-time production designer to our Los Angeles team. You will be working on a team that supports a large entertainment client. We are responsible for providing content, largely around adapting images and artwork to a specific spec. You are able to respond quickly and turn things around in a timely manner. You are a self starter, can work independently, and are able to manage your time effectively. We are looking for someone who is willing to take a flexible schedule which includes a later shift of 11am-8pm and will include a Saturday or flexible scheduling with another resource that could include a couple Saturdays a month.
About The Job
- Assist with high volume standardized asset production with changing specifications per project
- Juggle quick turnarounds for projects with competing deadlines
- Managing your own time and executing priorities as tasked in a remote work environment
- Work closely with your supervisor in the day to day and to navigate and deliver any out of the ordinary requests
- Remain easy to work with when receiving and executing direction/feedback
- Maintain a clear POV on quality (especially for composition and lighting) compared to usual deliverables
- Execute tasks like retouching, graphic design, matching new requests to layout templates, file delivery to multiple platforms, etc.
- Ability to organize files and delivery correctly.
Requirements
- 2+ years working of digital production experience in graphic design in a digital, creative environment (agency and/or in-house) for a tech/entertainment/consumer brand
- Demonstrable experience working in Adobe Photoshop for retouching and graphic design
- Project Management experience is a HUGE PLUS!
- Expert in all aspects of graphic design with proven ability to create high-quality creative (portfolio required)
- Understand, advocate, and embody the company’s values and team goals
- Flexible with a good sense of humor

Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Art directors, Production Designers, Project Managers and Account Teams
- Prepare final digital files adhering to provided specs and technical requirements for print and digital output/upload via FTP site to printer vendors and developers
- Version out existing approved concepts to a variety of sizes and specs for production and upload to printers
- Archive jobs properly on server. Back up files daily.
- Transmit files as necessary for client approvals or to outside vendor(s)
- Communicate status and completion of jobs to Project Managers, Art Directors and Account Teams
- Adhere to strict deadlines
- Ability to work on direct mail, print, digital, presentation decks among other media formats.
- Lead Print Production calls with printers/clients.
Qualifications
In order to effectively perform and communicate, must be knowledgeable, skilled and current in the following software:
- InDesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- ProofHQ, but not required
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Microsoft Teams
Must be highly detail oriented and organized.
Degree in graphic arts or equivalent desirable.
Professional Experience and Skills Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in design or other related positions is preferred for the production designer position. Significant course work in graphic design, print production, visual arts or a related field, along with a portfolio and experience that demonstrates clear knowledge of design, may suffice in the absence of a degree.
- Must have a solid knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.

Reporting to the Creative Team, the Photo-Video Production Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Production team with digital asset creation and post-production workflow in photography and videography. This person should be hard-working, fast-paced, detail-oriented, open-minded, organized, creative and able to maintain our established high standards of photography and videography. The ideal candidate is proactive, willing to take initiative and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist on content shoots and manage post-production workflow
- Assist with preparation of inventory and studio management for studio and on-location photo and video shoots
- Edit a high volume of product images for use on our website under tight deadlines while maintaining our high standards
- Perform basic video editing to choose best clips and remove unnecessary clips
- Define brand standards with music choice
- DIT (digital image transfer) on studio and location productions
- Assist content team as needed as well with equipment setup, breakdown and inventory
- Help to keep the set clean and tidy
Qualifications & Skills:
- Willing to learn software on the job
- Proficiency in Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One, Premier Pro or Final Cut Pro X
- Experience with natural and studio lighting + tethering
