JOB SUMMARY: As a full-time Art Director on the Firestone Walker Brand Design team, you’ll lead the strategic development and execution of multichannel creative initiatives for 805 beer ad campaigns (including, but not limited to), social/digital, packaging, film, retail, experiential, product branding, and marketing projects from start to finish. You’re a conceptual problem solver and design leader with fluency in creating visual concepts and storytelling to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and engage with consumers. You will own the creative process and visual ID for key brand categories working with the Head of Creative, marketing partners, and external creative teams to develop innovative creative material for 805 beer products and marketing campaigns.
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
- Develop world class creative and produce 360 multi-channel campaigns that get results

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or 6+ years in a marketing or related field
- Proven track record in creating world class creative campaigns
- Highly collaborative approach, with experience in a fast-paced and cross-functional focused environment
- Strong ability to strategically include outside functional expertise and performance data into your creative solutions
- Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite with focus on Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Keynote, and a familiarity with and understanding of video editing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Studio Rehearsals
- To assist choreographers and producers in the staging of new work, and record and document changes in choreography as required. To rehearse and maintain standards of existing repertoire, maximizing dancers technical and artistic capability, and in the absence of the original choreographer or producer, be fully conversant with the choreographers artistic intentions including preparation and learning of these works using videos and/or notation scores provided by the Company.
- To ensure the Agreement of Conduct is implemented and respected in rehearsals by choreographers, repetiteurs, guest teachers, and dancers.
- To liaise with the Director of Artistic Operations and the Executive Rehearsal Director in planning the weekly rehearsal schedule
- To support the maintenance of dancers’ technique by providing general training (class) to an outstanding level and deliver individual and remedial coaching as necessary to all ranks of artists, soloists, and principals as appropriate.

Production rehearsals and performances

- To provide regular performance feedback to company dancers as appropriate, depending on venue and setting
- To contribute to the casting of all performances – both general and daily, in addition to adhering to all amendments to daily casting at each performance venue
Management
- To attend all weekly artistic team meetings and full Company meetings
- To keep updated on information related to the Company’s schedule, artistic vision, current dancers, upcoming productions, rehearsals, and performances.
- To check emails regularly and send/receive/file emails for digital documentation
- To audition and recruit new dancers for the Company and provide feedback on auditionees to the rest of the Artistic Team

The Senior Art Director is responsible for creating high-end looks, ideating concepts, and animating their concepts for TV spots, trailers and digital A/V. Project to project, the Senior Art Director is also responsible for leading teams of Art Directors and Designers across both LA and NYC offices executing campaign design and production work.
