Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the length of the program.
  • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
  • Must be working from a location within the United States during all hours worked.

Desired Characteristics

  • Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.

The Role

Based in Ottawa and reporting to the Executive Producer, CPAC is seeking a bilingual (French/English) journalist to join our editorial team, who’s main assignment is with CPAC’s daily political program L’Essentiel, to oversee the production of programs, stories and segments. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Produce the daily French current affairs program, L’Essentiel;
  • Develop program, story, and segment ideas;

Job Description

Under management of the Director of Engineering, this position will provide mission critical technical support for the Eurofins DMS’ New York facility. This includes serving as the liaison to the Burbank engineering team in order to support post production systems and processes.

  • Provide configuration support to QC operators on key systems such as Transkoder, Iris, Premiere
  • Ensure continuous operation of the production facility by providing front-line support for all technical issues
  • Support the Burbank engineering team in remote debugging of technical issues
  • Work with internal and external partners to resolve workflow and procedural issues
  • Work on ad hoc projects and other tasks within the realm of production engineering and QC
  • Ability to work with TIFF sequences, drop in patches and create ProRes XQ files

Job Description

Our global Visual Effects team combines talent with technology, artistry with rigor, the familiar with the fantastic. Our work can be inspiring or invisible, but always unforgettable. From the language of colour to the hand drawn and photo-real, we bring ideas to life through the use of movement, storytelling and timing.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and high detailed budgets and advising on both high end VFX and fast turn around adaptation work.
  • Plan, coordinate and lead projects from storyboard through to final delivery.
  • Ensuring correct scheduling of sessions.
  • Manage project negotiation and utilize all resources efficiently.
  • Work alongside Leads and creative supervisors to track and manage projects.
  • Manage resources and ensure a strong line of communication between teams and all support departments.
  • Anticipate and communicate issues to supervisors or department heads.
  • Oversee the execution of all masters and final client deliveries.
  • Reconciling and billing all costs as per client requirements and internal standards.

Additional Information

We are looking for a savvy Game Producer with an entrepreneurial, start-up mentality and a mind for systemisation and a high level of communication, who is able to own the product release process through to completion. As Game Producer, you will deliver on projects in line with product briefs and time constraints set buy Brand Owners and Product Managers, keeping an extremely talented cross-functional team across Creative, Tech and Marcomms fully aligned to execute on releasing exceptional digital products in the Gaming, NFTs/Crypto & metaverse space. Reporting to the CEO, this role will require a strong knowledge of the tools and workflows in 3D Game Development and will set and manage the budget and resourcing needs for projects including our outsourced resources where required. You will run projects from the initiation stage through to planning, execution, monitoring and control and to the final delivery while keeping key stakeholders informed and proactively removing roadblocks throughout the workflow to ensure the smooth release of our products.
