The Position

The Senior Art Director is a visionary, coach, and workhorse in one crucial role. Working directly with the Associate Creative Directors, you will be responsible for bringing high-level ideas to life through thoughtful research, impeccable design, cultural savvy, and clear, persuasive storytelling.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to lead and take ownership of a variety of projects under tight deadlines.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal).

Overview

We’re looking to enhance our creative team by adding an experienced Senior Packaging/Production Designer. This role will be instrumental in leading and mentoring a small team of 2-3 packaging/production designers while also developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality in all our production deliverables. The right candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of print production in the CPG sector, strong proficiency with current design software, and excellent team leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of packaging/production designers, ensuring that all work aligns with our brand guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and high quality across all production deliverables.
  • Produce and supervise the creation of multiple versions of product packaging or collateral using InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Handle multiple rounds of revisions to files based on input from the Creative Director, Designers, Channel Owners, or Founders.
  • Utilize a deep understanding of 2C to 4C print process to properly set up electronic files for reproduction. This includes understanding digital, offset, and web printing, and the distinct differences in file preparation for various printing processes.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of error-free and properly constructed artwork and mechanicals.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience as a packaging/production designer, with a significant portion of that experience in the CPG sector. Prior experience in a leadership role is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • High level of technical skill with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the graphic and photo reproduction process.
  • Excellent organizational, efficiency, flexibility, and versatility skills.
  • High degree of focus and extreme diligence in handling asset management, detail, typography, and maintaining 100% accurate page layouts.

About the Role

As Brixity Art Director at Devsisters you will be the visual gatekeeper for our newest building simulation game, Brixity. You will direct how the visual should look in all places aside from the gameplay, making sure it connects and elevates the gameplay experience. For this full-time position in San Mateo, CA, the base salary range is $102,390 – $120,000. Major Goal 

The Choir Director provides weekly direction to the Good Shepherd volunteer Chancel Choir in support of our Traditional Worship Service. 

Worship Design and Planning 

  • Coordinate hymn selection with the Senior Pastor 
  • Develop music direction in alignment with Lutheran traditions and liturgy 
  • Select Anthems in alignment with the gospel reading or sermon focus per the Senior Pastor’s guidance
