Overview:

Our client looking for a Production Designer who can produce high-fidelity comps in tools like Figma and Photoshop, showcasing key landing page and site module experiences for their .com eCommerce websites.

Importantly, this person will be providing mockups based on functionality that is already available in client’s platform’s Content Management system. This means, you will need to become familiar with the modules that exist in client’s platform library, and design according to these parameters. Additionally, you will be proficient in selecting and preparing assets (cropping, creating Mp4s, etc) in preparation for upload in the Content Management Tool, and therefore should be familiar with how to create assets for optimal web performance.

Essential Responsibilities:

Develop high fidelity mockups (comps) and assets that align with established brand style guidelines and business objectives for various ecommerce clients in different categories.

Prepare assets (mostly will leverage raw assets from existing brand libraries) for optimal web performance in the form of MP4s, gifs, jpgs, etc.

Major bonus if you have a knack for copy writing and content strategy (ie; being able to suggest punchy copy that aligns with brand story and mission).

Partner with content and creative team to ensure standards, templates, and approaches to asset development is aligned and synchronized.

Edit existing designs to ensure visual style consistency across different brands.

Successfully prioritize assignments and manage appropriate timelines and deliverables with attention to detail.

Communicate often with internal and external (brand/client) teams – and present your work.

The Creative Director, Channel (CD) supports the Channel Partner Solutions Line focused specifically on owning the incentive creative vision throughout execution by directing the creative team on the conception, design, development, and production of innovative communications campaigns for all assigned clients/programs. Overview

Nox Sky is hiring a Director of Photography/Videographer to work with our Producer to lead our Los Angeles, CA, film production team. 

Nox Sky works with professional sports teams to create ongoing short-form documentary films published on the Nox Sky platform. The Nox Sky platform is integrated into team mobile apps and web properties, where the films are published and syndicated on other social video platforms. The platform allows for fan engagement in film series featuring one or more team players and team organization members. 

Nox Sky’s film production team is based in Los Angeles, CA.

Roles and Responsibilities 

Pre-Production

The DP (Director of Photography) will work closely in pre-production with the Producer, developing relationships with the sports teams, the individuals in the organization, and the athletes, while assisting with story writing, production planning, and navigating the unique personalities of athletes we will film.

  • Meet with teams, athletes, marketing/pr departments with the producer for understanding and alignment of goals
  • Work with the producer in crafting story arcs, screenwriting, and creative direction
  • Work with the producer on logistics and scheduling for all future production
  • Build relationships with the teams’ individuals and internal departments

Production

The DP will work with the producer to ensure a smooth start-to-finish production process. The DP will set up and prepare all equipment, operate the camera, and help the producer direct lean production teams.

  • Execute planned logistics and production
  • Operate and record the film
  • Work with a crew to assist with any other equipment (audio, lighting)
  • Be sensitive and aware of the unique individuals that are being filmed
  • Maintain a safe environment and prioritize the comfort and interest of the athletes being filmed
  • Utilize industry best practices in filming, security, and redundancies

Post Production

The DP will work closely with the producer to do initial video editing and color grading and, for specialty needs, will work with a video editor to execute the vision.

  • Basic video editing, color grading, and sound/music editing
  • Work with the Producer on iterating on the video editing
  • If specialty video editing is needed, ensure prompt and proper asset delivery to the video editor
  • Work with Producer to review and provide feedback to the video editor

Innovation

One of the main focuses of the DP will be innovating on the production of our unique short documentary films, by breaking the rules of traditional crew, equipment, and production setups, by utilizing cutting-edge equipment and methods to find a sweet spot that we will need to succeed in the long-term.

  • Work on utilizing different tools to reduce the overhead of crew and equipment
  • Proactively test, try, and experiment with technology, equipment, and processes to discover new and unprecedented ways of creating highly engaging films.
  • Maintain clear goals of reducing footprint during production, furthering the ability to be more unobtrusive, and keeping a pulse on how we can constantly iterate and be better.

The producer will be located in the Greater Los Angeles, California area, able to travel to meet with teams, travel with the teams, and be on-location for shoots. 

Requirements

We are looking for a digital Art Director with expertise in user interaction design, graphic design, motion design and a passion for helping clients craft and build experiences based on modern design systems. As an art director, you will be a hands-on designer and emerging leader working to define, design and implement every aspect of a digital experience. You will collaborate closely with experience strategists, experience designers, content writers, developers, data analysts, client partners and project managers to create stunning digital experiences that generates real customer value and drives measurable business results.

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL

  • Play an active role in new business pitches working alongside Studio Leadership
  • Demonstrate hands-on leadership by taking responsibility for your work and team deliverables
  • Design world-class design solutions for digital products, marketing and commerce websites and present those ideas to the clients
  • Work closely with other designers, experience designers, experience strategists and client partners to deliver projects of exceptional quality from start to finish
  • Advocate for customer-centric ways to create value and solve problems for client businesses
  • When needed, carry out client-facing workshops and presentations, collaborate in discovery research and user testing, helping turn qualitative data into actionable insights and opportunities
  • Define and create digital brand visual identity systems and atomic design pattern libraries
  • Personally design and help mentor other designers in the creation of design concepts, visual design comps, clickable prototypes and more
  • Understand our clients’ target audience and look for unique opportunities to reach them through a variety of channels
  • Stay apprised of social trends and produce unique ideas and designs that produce engagement
  • Think systematically about a client’s goals and develop holistic design solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree;in lieu of degree, equivalent experience in a relevant fieldrequired
  • Fluency with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office/Teams
  • Emerging fluency with Generative AI design tools
  • Experience (and/or eagerness) to work with distributed creative teams
  • Eagerness to take on design challenges, collaborate and grow professionally.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills

Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is$78,000 – $126,500. Salary is based on a range of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. Our incentive compensation plan is subject to change. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
